Dominion Voting sues Fox for $1.6B over 2020 election claims
AOL/Associated Press ^ | March 26, 2021 | Colleen Long

Though Dominion serves 28 states, until the 2020 election it had been largely unknown outside the election community. It is now widely targeted in conservative circles, seen by millions of people as one of the main villains in a fictional tale in which Democrats nationwide conspired to steal votes from Trump, the lawsuit said.

No, it isn't millions of people, Colleen, it's millions of Americans, who don't believe the election fraud of 2020 was a "fictional tale". So how are the media and the lawyers going to prove there was no fraud? I hate popcorn, but I'll watch this one anyway.

There is the small matter of the Dominion VP on tape saying that he has ensured Trump won’t win.

Still, some Fox News employees elevated false charges that Dominion had changed votes through algorithms in its voting machines that had been created in Venezuela to rig elections for the late dictator Hugo Chavez.

DISCOVERY.

discovery wont show the actual fraud but it will show the coverup.

If it’s a civil case you don’t need 100% lack of reasonable doubt but Dominion still has to prove that the fraud didn’t happen to have a legitimate case that fox was wrong. More over, they have to prove fox knew they were wrong (intent) and had malice.

I also believe that any errors found in the voting software (MI audit???) will work to kill the lawsuit. Discovery should be intersting as well.

I’m pretty sure that Dominion’s going to say “we can’t reveal our source code. It’s an industry secret and we could stand to take losses if it’s revealed.” Then it depends on the judge. Even so, Dominion would just provide them with clean code and no one would do a thing. The best thing is to get someone to d/l and secure code from a machine now, leak it, and then present it during discovery pleas. Also, one issue is defacement and then adjucation and ballot stacking. It’s not the software, but it’s people putting a defaced ballot at the end of a batch, corrupting the whole batch, then someone adjudicates ALL the votes for Biden. Or, they simply have a Biden stack that they run through multiple times.

Lindell still hasn’t been served. Anybody know if this suit has been actually filed?

That’s true — they only have to prove it by a preponderance of the evidence.

I don’t know how FNC was reporting it because I went to Newsmax and OAN on election night when FNC called it for Biden in Arizona. FNC tried to kiss up to the libs, and look at where it got them. Appeasing tyrants never generates a positive result — it only emboldens them.

In NY, after the 2000 election the lever machines were scrapped in favor of Dominion equipment. Everything on the machine is Linux and open to inspection. They are not running an embedded Windows OS because Microsoft would NOT allow inspection of their source code. There is no "secret source code" on Dominion equipment.

There are no secret servers in Germany, no CIA, Hugo Chavez involvement vote-flipping machines or whatever other Sidney Powell hallucination you heard.

The Democrats stole the election through old-fashioned voter fraud.

To me, the strongest evidence for machine goofballism is in the Windham race in New Hampshire where three GOP candidates were found to have been short almost exactly 300 votes taken by machine, after hand recount.

I link this article not because “patch” is some unassailable news source, but because it starkly shows the recount vs machine results.

If you think that Fox is going to take this to a trial you don't know lawsuits, especially one where Sidney Powell is claiming insanity in her defense to a similar suit.

Disputes about the election are resolved by transparency. Dominion should either be transparent or get out of the voting business. Their efforts to increase the lack of trust in elections could not be more effective.

What kind of super-duper-secret source code do you need to count things fed into machines?

Blah, blah, blah. It’s all they got!

Make headlines with frivolous BILLION dollar lawsuits.

The only way to make money since their name and reputation have been destroyed by their own corruption.

Again, at the behest of JimRob, I will limit what I say about this case to making Freepers aware of exactly what Eric Coomer ranted about President Trump on FB, and the implications it has for Dominion's lawsuit:

"[President Trump is an] autocratic, narcissistic, fascist ass-hat blowhard and his christian jihadist VP, unfriend me now...I'm looking at you Geoffrey Cushing-Murray, Gus Murern, Benjamin Rice...Only an absolute F^CKING IDIOT could ever vote for that wind-bag f^ck-tard FASCIST RACIST F^CK!" -- Dr. Eric Coomer, VP / Dir of Product Strategy and Security, Dominion Voting Systems, June 2, Facebook.
Dominion's counsel will have to argue that their own-side, hostile witness has obtained the same safe harbor of 1st Amendment 'satire' (and Sullivan) that somehow -- quite unbelievably as their 'theory of the case' -- does not extend to the people and news organizations that Dominion has sued.
