Just before authorities released the names of the victims of the Boulder, Colorado shooting, Liz Hanson woke up and got dressed, slipping into a pair of tie-dyed pants she bought at the store of her friend Lonna Bartkowiak.
Moments later she learned that Bartkowiak, 49, had been shot and killed.
“I found out she was gone,” Hanson said in an interview with the Forward . “I looked down at my pants because she had bought them at her store – she picked them out for me.”........Hanson is a member of Congregation Bonai Shalom, where London-native Rabbi Marc Soloway serves as spiritual leader. In the aftermath of Monday’s tragedy, Soloway expressed a similar mix of grief and rage, noting that this mass shooting occurred just days after a District Court judge blocked the City of Boulder from enforcing its two-year-old ban on assault weapons. When was the last time we had a “mass shooting?” I don’t recall hearing about many under Trump. What makes Leftists go crazy when their own people are in control?

There are 3 synagogues, a Jewish community center, Chabad House and a day school in Boulder. Targeting Jews by going to an ordinary grocery store seems odd, but crazy people do crazy things.
Were any if the victims Jewish? Or is the article about Jews mourning gentile friends and neighbors?

There was a shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh. The left at first were oh so giddy when it turned out to be a Jew hating White guy. But he quickly ended up not to be a “good fit” when it came out that he hated Pres Trump for being so Israel friendly and having a Jewish SIL and grandchildren. The left was further disappointed when the Rabbi of that congregation had a very cordial meeting with Pres Trump.
Freeper RC one posted a thread about Al Issa’s target selection yesterday. I called up a map centered on Al Issa’s home and searched for synagogues, and sure enough, he’s right.

I didn’t mean to be flippant, it’s just interesting to me that the Dems sit on their hands when they happen under Republican administrations, but you get one under a Dem admin and they go for the throat.
FWIW, there were quite a few “mass shootings” every year under Trump, but that just goes to show how the media fans the flames depending on the administration.
There were some like the Las Vegas shooting (worst in US History) in 2017, and some more, but 2020 seemed free of the usual amount.
Very difficult to get a gun permit in Israel. Don’t think more than one handgun is allowed. Even ammo is tightly controlled. (Easier if one lives in Judea or Samaria.)
Israel, fortunately, has armed military all over the place.
