Biden Suffers Four-Second Mental Meltdown, Struggles to Move on to Next Question, During Press Event

Thursday, at his first press conference as president, Joe Biden appeared to forget what he was saying, then become so confused that he struggled to move on to a new topic.

Pres. Biden was addressing the possibility of abolishing or changing the Senate filibuster when he lost his train of thought, looked down, then tried to summarize what he meant to say.

Biden seemed to have increasing difficulty expressing his thoughts, then completely lost his train of thought:

“So, the best way to get something done, if you…if you hold, it near and dear to you, that you…uh, uh, like to be able to, uh - well, anyway.

“I, ah…we’re ready to get a lot done.

“And, if we have to, if there’s complete lockdown and chaos as a consequence of the filibuster, then we’ll have to go beyond what I’m talking about.”

Biden, then, appeared to continue to be confused as he tried to refer to his notes to call on the next reporter:

“Okay, um – hang on…ah, sorry. Oh. Same name, Miss Kim.”

Answering the next question, Biden recovers, somewhat, though he pauses and has trouble continuing, at one point. By the following question, he appears to get back on track.

Maybe Captain Pike could have done a better press conference.

I assume “back on track” because he was given a pre-determined question with a pre-written answer he could read.

Is that dementia? I’ve not been around enough dementia patients to know the signs. It’s not normal, that’s plain to see. He lost his train of thought, rambled, tried to continue, ended his sentence. I’m not saying he’s coherent, but he recovered and managed to stay somewhat on topic. What was that?

His staff had him memorize prewritten answers just like Disney CEO Bob Chapek did when facing share holder questions recently. Bob Chapek did a better job than Joe Biden because Bob remembered his answers quicker.

Watching him brings me to tears. I am uncomfortable, embarrassed for him, frustrated, and angry with his BS.

He was asked about the shooting in CO and he came back with something about doing something about infrastructure or some such nonsense.

Train wreck.

Even Chris Wallace said he'd NEVER seen a President use notes like that at a press conference.

Pathetic.

Biden was horrible. However, the press corpsE was even worse.

Remember, these are the same people who the courts have essentially said can defame public officials/personalities with impunity because they provide such an invaluable service to the public good.

In fact, they’re nothing but propogandists.

Like some said, on a scale of 1-10 in dementia he’s at the early onset stages, perhaps 3. No way he lasts 4 years.

When the Press starts noting these things, you know it’s just about “Kamala Time”.

“Is that dementia?”

Yep. My neighbor had dementia. I used to sit and talk with him frequently. He was pretty good at reasoning with things he knew, or things he remembered well. His memory was really bad, but he could remember “the old days” quite well. I’d sit down, he’d as me what day it was. Then about 10 minutes later, same question. Not uncommon for him to ask 4 or 5 times. He was enjoyable to converse with, and occasionally would offer some interesting insights. But he wasn’t running the country, heck, he couldn’t even drive anymore, (he got lost too easily).

I’m no expert, but what I’ve seen of dementia is that it’s can be decline, not a total crash. The ability to reason isn’t always trashed, but mental quickness and memory are significantly impacted.
