Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski have once again betrayed the American people and voted to confirm one of the most insidious persons ever nominated to a Cabinet position, "Rachel" Levine. He will now be the assistant secretary of health. Levine was as toxic as N.Y. Gov. Cuomo when it came to rendering Pennsylvania nursing homes super-spreaders of COVID, but he put his own mother in a hotel. He knew what he was doing as surely as Cuomo did.
There is much to condemn this appointment, but most serious is Levine's promotion of medication and surgery for pre-pubescent children with gender dysphoria. Sane people realize that this is perhaps the most despicable form of child abuse that has currently won favor among trans activists. Surely, both Murkowski and Collins know full well that the vast majority of American people do not support such extremist views, but they apparently wanted to appear to be sufficiently "woke."
We are all beginning to realize, too late, that being woke is a form of mass hysteria meant to undermine every essential tenet of Judeo-Christian values. Being "woke" means adopting the new rules of the cancel culture, remaking America according to the whims of BLM and Antifa. BLM is a Marxist, anti-American, anti–nuclear family organization that is specifically pro-transgender. So Collins and Murkowski have revealed their inner anti-Americanism, a blatant betrayal of their constituents.
The question of the day is, why have any Republicans voted to confirm any of Biden's Cabinet appointees?
Every one of them has been chosen not for his expertise in any sphere of influence, but for his radicalism; the farther left these people are, the better in Biden's (?) view. Xavier Beccara probably belongs in prison.

Additional factors contribute to their staying power. They have the media behind them; they control all the institutions in our society; they indoctrinate our children through control of the education establishment; they don’t hesitate to spend tax money to buy votes; and they are good at propaganda.
They also have the luxury of an “opponent” like the GOP which is perma-weak and never really poses any real resistance.
Finally, the Democrats are very aggressive and they are always on offense. You have to give them (grudging) credit for the way they fight for their causes. They are also very good at branding, energizing and promoting their campaigns to achieve liberal objectives.
In short, they are a formidable politic adversary and we don’t have a party on our side to fight for us.
Sometimes “leaders” hire weak subordinates because they have to feel like the smartest person in the room.
There’s no way the stupidest man to ever hold a senate seat possibly did that.
I just don’t understand this clown show. There’s not one remotely competent person in the place.

I get you’re point but it oversimplifies things a bit.
You have to ask how does corruption take root and become endemic? Corruption is the symptom but the disease that spawns it is brought about by a combination of willful ignorance, apathy, and greed in our communities. Democrats are wrecking our country writ large but people don’t care enough to stop it.
Corruption and societal decay only grow in the right soil.

Can you imagine having to deal with this person on a professional level? I would not be able to it. I would probably bust out laughing the first time it said something. Even worse, imagine that be your immediate supervisor in the military.
collins and murkowski employ the mccain method: campaign as a conservative, serve as a liberal democrat. Murkowski may have some questions to answer as she faces re-election; collins, on the other hand, having been sent back last year, is now covered for the next five. She joins the ranks of other libs like specter, romney, portman, toomey, etc.

A cabinet worse than Biden’s? Maybe “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” or something like that, but the Biden cabinet is just as evil, destructive and weird, if not more so.
