China plans to invite Palestinians and Israelis for talks - report
Jerusalem Post ^ | March 24, 2021

Posted on 03/24/2021 3:23:59 AM PDT by EBH

China has offered itself several times in the past as an alternative to the United States when it comes to mediating between Israelis and Palestinians, coming up with proposals to end their decades-old conflict. "We will invite Palestinian and Israeli public figures to have talks in China," al-Arabiya quoted Wang as saying.

He did not elaborate, and it was not immediately clear whether he had government representatives in mind. On Yemen, Wang said: "We call for implementing the Saudi initiative for a settlement in Yemen as soon as possible."

The Saudi peace initiative includes a nationwide ceasefire and the reopening of air and sea links with the territories held by the Houthi group in Yemen. However, the Iran-aligned Houthis has said the offer falls short of their demands.

The problem with any “agreement” involving practitioners of Islam is that the religion makes mandatory any agreement or lie to further the religion. That means no meaningful agreement is possible...ever. Everyone involved knows this. Any agreement by anyone will be used as an opportunity to rest and rearm. And, while such a religious requirement may be great for Islam, it dooms the practitioners to a permanent state of war. There can be no golden age of peace and prosperity. The people of Islam are hamstrung by a philosophy that, while great for the leaders, is horrible for the common people who will be kept forever poor, uneducated and subservient.

Great, now China will be responsible for the ongoing failure of the Middle East. Protests in the streets burning the Chinese flag in four, three, two...

Why? Nothing we've done has made a bit of difference in the Palestinian/Israeli situation. Let China fail for a change.

I guess China is now the leader of the 'free' world.

Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted.

China takes the lead......the Bidens got filthy rich.....Americans got left in he lurch.

At a Nov 28, 2020 panel in Shanghai, Prof Di Dongsheng, mused over the narcissism endemic to Western elites
(the Biden Crime Family, Cong Swallwell, GA Secy of State Raffensberger who learned Mandarin to hit up Chinese donors)
and the ease to which they are brought under the spell of the Communist People’s Republic.

CCP operatives (w/ hidden agendas) reported on their efforts to conscript “prominent Americans and institutions”
who were even willing to work against the interests of their own country......for a price.

The professor related his own triumphs as a CCP operative in recruiting new and useful American “friends.”

The professor said, America’s prominent pols fell easily to China’s leveraging of insatiable Western appetites for power, influence, and money.

NOTE Prof Di Dongsheng is Vice Dean of the School of International Relations at Renmin University (the school for children of the CCP elite).

Unlike the U.S., the Chinese have no compunction about retaliation. It wouldn’t be a military invasion, but if the ‘Arab Street” starts protesting, look for some variation of influenza to show up.

Oh yeah...this has been going on for quite sometime.

Under the Trump administration they were tracking down these CCP connections right here in the United States. There were some arrests, but the infiltration still exists. Portman has done several reports on this issue.

A VERY salient point....shows the Chinese are even more cutthroat than Biden lefties.

Maybe China could invite Uighur, Hong Kong, Tibet and Taiwan representatives to show their street cred in honoring and facilitating independent peoples.

Perhaps the Palestinians can ‘squeeze’ some Yuan out of the Chinese. They certainly are good at working the ‘Middle East Peace Grift’ that has been milked for 7 decades.

There has been significant progress with the reform of Islam in Saudi Arabia. It is the only thing that has made President Trump’s vision manifested in the Abraham Peace Accords between Saudi Arabia, Israel and other ME states.

Radical extremists such as leftist and Islamicist terrorists have always been the enemy of civilization. We need to look beyond grouping all Islam in the same group as the radical, extremists which every religion/sect seems to spawn.

President Trump envisioned this new peace and embraced the efforts of the Saudi and Israelis. To honor President Trump, would easily reset my thoughts on what could be achieved in working with people determined to reform Islam, with great sacrifice, into a more modern and forward thinking mindset. If President Trump and Israel can trust them I believe we can work with them as well.

Very clever, the Chinese.

They know their game theory.

Middle East and terrorism, occasional political and Jewish issues Ping List. High Volume If you’d like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Vacuums tend to be filled, even power vacuums. The opportunity presents itself worldwide. As to this effort, palestinians refused talks throughout the 8 Obama and 4 Trump years. This likely won't be different. They'll demand up front concessions from Israel to sit down and won't get them. Joe's first actions were to strain relations with Canada by killing Canadian oil and gas and pipeline jobs, with the fine result of shutting down Alaskan cruises. No biggie, jobs lost are in a red state. Then proceeded to alienate Mexico by opening the border, empowering the drug gangs. Our closest neighbors were Bidened.

That done day one, he moved on to our greatest threats. Iran, the worlds greatest sponsor of terror, he sent them billions of dollars, no strings attached. Then repeating twenty year old comments on Putin, causing their Ambassador to be recalled. Then insulting China at our first cabinet level meeting.

Lots of Biden vacumns out there to be filled, and I don't mean the vacuums used to clean dog fur off White House floors.

While it is a diplomatic stunt aimed at the United States, it is fools errand to think that (1) an intermediary can help resolve the dispute, or (2) an intermediary can do anything that the Palestinians cannot do, once they chose to, which is to decide they want peace more than they want anything else.

That last part is all that is needed and without it no resolution of the dispute is possible.

There is nothing the Chinese can give the Palestinians that will break their desire for the very end of Israel as a state; which would be the net affect of the demands the Palestinians want to make on Israel.

There is nothing the Chinese can offer Israel to accept its self destruction resulting from acceding to Palestinian demands.

China has the advantage of not being held responsible for a lot of colonial stuff.

The Western powers are.

So having a party that is not part of the history could work out.
