Former President Donald Trump, in a podcast interview released Monday, listed a number of Republicans he sees as potential successors if he opts not to run for the White House again, which he said he is still considering.

.....

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), another Republican who largely fell behind Trump after facing his ridicule during the 2016 primary and who has more recently trained his fire on Dr. Anthony Fauci, “has been great,” Trump said.

....

Rest of the list...

I look at the fact that Cruz was willing to work with Trump despite a lot of anger he had with Trump over the 2016 election. Politics should not be personnel and the president is not my friend he is there to represent what he perceives to be the American interest. I believe that cuz along with a few others can. Personally though I think Cruz is better in the Senate as the majority leader.

Sarcasm or the real deal?
When one cannot ‘see’ the speaker say their message, it can be hard to judge how they meant it.

Matt Gaetz.

A rock-ribbed conservative and Trump supporter.

Besides DJT, Pompeo will go nose to nose with China with America’s interest first.

Yes. This is his big appeal. He is a staunch fiscal conservative who has introduced budgets that CUT government.

No one else has done that really and they dont care.

My biggest disappointment with Trump was that he signed every massive spending bill Congress sent over.

She didn’t cave. She sent the bill back so it can be written where it’ll stand up in the courts.

You are right

The problem with your Tagline is that the presidential ticket won’t be two people from the same state (Florida). Other than that, it would be a terrific presidential ticket.

Noem was in the House from 20011-2018. She had a 51% Conservative rating at that time. No thanks.

Agree. I will never support Cruz for any office. He has poor judgement.

In early February he was in an interview and he blamed Trump for the January 6 riot!

That should not have surprised me because he stood with “protesters” in NYC who were hassling Trump supporters as they tried to enter Trump’s first rally. He canceled the event out of concern for the safety of his supporters.

Fake news President Trump, we have no "deep bench" and we are riddled with high places.

1 Kings 11:7

Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon

Cruz had anger? Laughable. Cruz asked for and was given permission by Trump to give a speech at the Convention. Cruz did not give the speech he submitted. Instead, he tried to steal Trump’s electors by stating, “Vote your conscience.”
Cruz is a weasel.

That’s exactly where I was. I supported him too, but he would be far more effective on the SCOTUS.
