White House officials are preparing to present President Biden with a roughly $3 trillion infrastructure and jobs package that includes high-profile domestic policy priorities such as free community college and universal prekindergarten, according to three people familiar with internal discussions.
After completing the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package this month, Biden administration officials are piecing together the next major legislative priority. Although no final announcement has been made, the White House is expected to push a multitrillion-dollar jobs and infrastructure plan as the centerpiece of the president’s “Build Back Better” agenda.
That effort is expected to be broken into two parts — one focused on infrastructure, and the other focused on other domestic priorities such as growing the newly expanded child tax credit for several years. The people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations, stressed that planning was preliminary and subject to change. Some aides said that the package’s final price tag remains unclear.

The Biden tour to sell the “COVID Relief” is named the “Help Is Here Tour.” I’m surprised they didn’t use the full name, “We’re From the Government and We Are Here to Help” tour.
More head start BS. I bet there won’t be free pre-k in the high income town I live in.
Maybe I should start one.
There’s only so much you can stock up on. Dry cereals, canned goods, dry beans, rice and jerky only takes you so far before you want fresh milk, eggs, steak, hamburger, bread, butter, fruit and vegetables.
There isn’t much you can do to prep for hyperinflation.
Yeah, free community college is only going to worsen the shortage of good people in the trades.
We obviously don’t have enough wokesters telling us what evil white supremacists we are chock full of white privilege. There seems to be a huge demand for graduates in “studies” that will fill that need.
• Republicans are about getting invited to the right cocktail parties in Washington.
Government has never been more out of control.

Just wait, they’re just getting started.
You’ve apparently never heard of MREs and freeze-dried food?
Translation: That much money doesn't even exist yet!
Mountain House eggs!!!!!
But I will say this. In the UK....they don’t have “Core Curriculum”. They go to college for 3 years and study nothing but their major.

Tell me about it. The college I teach in the Bay Area has an Associates of Applied Science in Games Programming.
Out of the 64 semester hours, 25% are liberal arts classes.
While in Singapore (Diploma is the same as our AA/AS/AAS) 200% of the classes were Games Programming. The top-up Bachelor Degree was likewise 100% Games Programming
Five or Ten or Twenty years on that stuff? Thanks, I’ll pass.
A devastating inflationary environment doesn’t end after a month or two. It takes years or a decade or more. Can you eat MREs that long? You’ll probably die of ricketts or beri-beri.
Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad if the community colleges taught kids how to be electricians, plumbers, welders and such. We have an abundance of kids out there that aren’t really cut out for advanced college courses but there is a need for skilled tradesmen/women and I think I’d rather have them get a good paying skill than end up turning to heroin and/or communism.

Hint: there equal number of kids not cut out for manual labor, skilled or not.
I nearly failed high school in the mid-80s due these industrial arts classes. No interest even at 15 to do any manual labor.
You made it out
Congrats
Er 100%, not 200% but you get the idea. No liberal arts bullshit.
We are so screwed. It’s going to implode. So long Amerika. The USSA is here.
