Asian-Americans are buying guns to protect themselves amid a spike in anti-Asian hate crimes fueled by the coronavirus pandemic.
“There are more Asians being introduced to firearms,” said Jimmy Gong, the owner of Jimmy’s Sport Shop in Mineola, New York. “Before, there was never gun culture in the Asian community. But after the pandemic and all the hate crime going on, there are more Asians buying guns to defend themselves.”
Gong said that his gun sales have doubled during the pandemic, and about half of his business comes from Asian-Americans, who also buy lots of pepper spray.

Not all Asian Americans are alike. The Korean men who immigrate to the United States have military training and they know how to kick ass when necessary. Other Asian American groups can be very passive when attacked.

The Koreans and Vietnamese are the only ones that have a major gun culture. Not so much with the Chinese, even less so for the Japanese, and often even less with the rest.

There, I fixed it for you. Contrary to the propaganda put out by the media it appears the killer shot people who happened to be both Asian and non-Asian because they were involved in prostitution.
This tragedy is another example of mental health problems among young people that go untreated until a disaster occurs. It is probably also an example of how many people are victims of human trafficking.
Perhaps just the sight of a gun may deter a thug sometimes. But of course for those cases where the bluff is called, its better to have bullets.

Asians better get them while they can before other Asians like the wretched Hirono, Duckworth, Yang, Lieu etc. ban them.
