The video looks like a scene from an apocalyptic movie - dozens of disheveled people shivering in the middle of a winter night as they camp out around a trash bin on fire among a street strewn with litter.
But the footage isn’t a Hollywood production but a candid snapshot of Kensington Avenue in northeast Philadelphia - an area that has been likened to the infamous Skid Row section of Los Angeles.
The neighborhood has previously been dubbed the 'East Coast's largest open-air drug market' by DEA officials, according to the New York Times.

Huh. The “open air drug market and homeless camp” is far larger in Los Angeles - it goes on for miles and miles and spills into every suburb these days.

Bunch of pikers, and it isn’t fair to compare Philly to our Skid Row here in Los Angeles. The pictures look like a Sanitized Version of Skid Row in LA. Our Skid Row is over 6 Square Miles and has over 20,000 inhabitants. It truly is a sight to see.

The amazing thing about these massive slums in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit is that these folks take their politics so seriously they all vote twice by mail in ballot all on the same day.
Those of us who live around Portland, OR see this crap up and down I-5 and I-205 unabated.
Sad but I don’t see how it can be fixed as any attempt to correct or repair the situation will be met with resistance and contempt from the Left. This ugly blight on a fine city is exactly what the Left wants in every city across this nation and indeed the world.
Yep. LA’s skid row is overflowing. It’s worse than anything I ever saw in any third-world country. All thanks to Democrats.
