Since Obama claims to be a Christian, that would make him a member of a hate group.

Truth is hate to people who hate truth.

Commie foreigner (born in Canada) and a DA who got a DUI.

Hates Americans. Wants to re-create a third-world dump here.

This is a shining example of why Hart-Cellar was one of the most destructive legislation in our history. See tagline,

Justice Alito predicted all of this in his dissent in the gay marriage case Obergfell. He was correct in pointing out that people with religious and moral objections to gay marriage would inevitably be discriminated against: “I assume that those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.”

No conservative Christians, but immigrant muslims are just fine. Ask the woman who was killed by the muslim cop who, sitting in the front passenger seat, fired his pistol through the driver's side window to kill the woman. His partner had the pistol muzzle right in his face.

I agree but the pure and raw audacity, intent and desire of the left is on full display. It should give pause to anybody who doubts or poo poos New Testament prophecy or the book of Revelations (IMHO).

California is no longer America. California has seceded by abrogating Federal laws and the constitution

Any time the terms “hate speech” “hate group” or “hate crime” are used without ironic quotation marks, God kills a puppy.

Kalra was born in Toronto and later moved to California. He is a vegan.[6] His education was at UC Santa Barbara. In a 2011 incident of driving under the influence of alcohol, Kalra pleaded no contest and was sentenced to serve community service hours and receive counseling.[2]

Well, considering the particular church his family belonged to I think that is a given.

No way this survives a legal challenge.

I think it more likely that no judge will allow a legal challenge. Nobody who is even a tic to the right of Mao has standing anymore.

It is quite probable that this TWOT is simply posturing for the nimrods that put him in office. And, believe me, there are a lot of that type in the area — I live in the Bay Area. But, I would not be at all surprised if something like this passed into law. A lot of clearly unconstitutional crappola gets into law — look at the 10 round limit on magazines.
That said, it is a distinct possibility that even an egregious bill could go forward with everyone knowing that it will absolutely be struck down by any judge not bent — lot of them, too. In the meantime, they get to crow on and on how their bill (clearly illegal) was an heroic act.
