The U.S. Justice Department on Friday said it expects to file criminal charges against more than 100 additional people who allegedly participated in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, in what it described as probably the most complex investigation it has ever handled.
More than 300 people already face charges stemming from the siege, which left five people dead and more than 130 police officers injured as thousands of supporters of former President Donald Trump tried to prevent Congress from certifying his election defeat.
The Justice Department made the disclosure in court filings seeking 60-day extensions in some cases so that investigators can adequately pull together evidence.

Merrick Garland is salivating to go after the Trump supporters.
Newsmax runs a lot of AP and Reuters articles without a Barf alert.

Well, we don’t really know the answer because many of the thugs that rioted at the capital were Antifa/BLM thugs. But they aren’t being charged with anything - only the ones that believe in Trump/MAGA.
The only bullet to be fired and death in the pseudo-insurrection was by a LAW ENFORCEMENT officer who violated the most basic rules of use of lethal force and it was against a Trump supporter! The ONLY GUN used in the pseudo-insurrection was fired by a black law enforcement officer against a white Trump supporter! There were no ZERO arrests made of individuals with firearms.
I believe before this is all over with, Donald Trump will quietly pay their legal fees.
Not one of the more than 200 rioters arrested during the Trump inauguration was ever convicted of anything. Most had the charges dropped. The few who went to trial were acquitted by friendly DC juries.
They will throw the book at these people. Max sentences!

Based on the videos I saw, it looked like about 100-200 people were actually engaging in violence. It seems like the other 200-300 they are charging were simply photographed inside the Capitol after they were LET IN by the police.
Yeah, and I usually credit 'em as "NewsSmacks" for that sort of propaganda indoctrination "Journalism".
