Several Democratic members of New York’s congressional delegation, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and veteran Rep. Jerry Nadler, joined Friday in calls for Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign amid a now-half-dozen allegations of sexual misconduct, as well as the lingering nursing home coronavirus scandal.
“This week, the second sexual assault allegation and the sixth harassment allegation was leveled against Governor Cuomo,” said Ocasio-Cortez (D-Bronx/Queens) in a joint statement with Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-Bronx/Westchester), a fellow member of the progressive “Squad.”

The Nov. 2020 coup is completed. So the Democrat Junta in charge has decided Cuomo is a threat and its time for a bit of internal factional warfare and house-cleaning.
They can’t use Covid-crimes against him, because then every Democrat would be in jeopardy, so they are using “Wokeness” against him instead. Its always a useful political weapon.
It’s over for Cuomo. The left is distancing themselves very quickly. The excuse is going to be #metoo, but the real reason might be that people in Albany are very panicked about the investigation of their handling of Covid.
Every day there are more articles seeping into the media about how/why the states that had the most draconian response to Covid did not perform any better than states with far less lockdowns. However, it seems obvious that Cuomo decided to do stuff that was far beyond the blue state lockdown plan.
Some of the sober democrats in Albany were the first to distance themselves from him..... ask yourself why? What do they know that we do not? The media is strangely silent about their “hero” when he was a convenient foil to Trump.
I might be in the minority, but I think there is a very big shoe drop coming soon about his administrations Covid response. Cuomo has a mouth on him and he is vicious. There had to be argument and dissent from his handling of nursing homes and his refusal to use the hospital beds provided by Trump.
What do you want to bet that some of those at the table during those discussions are already talking? The media seems to want to push him out over #metoo so they can ignore the bigger story.

Gov Cuomo sentenced thousands of the elderly in rest homes to death by ordering Covid positive patients be sent to those rest homes. And that was all okay with the democrats. Now the democrats want to remove him from office for being a cad? No question about it, the democrats are pure evil!

All of his alleged infractions are usually resume enhancers for Democrats. There is something here that we are not being told.
If Cuomo is innocent as he claims, he should sue all the women and/or press charges against them for conspiring to ruin him without cause.
