Senator Chuck Schumer claimed on Thursday that money directed toward New York City does not always make it past the state legislature in Albany in an apparent swipe at Governor Andrew Cuomo.
The Senate Majority leader made the comment as he announced a massive COVID vaccine push in NYC which will see him hand $32billion allocated for the shots in the COVID relief bill in December straight to the city's Mayor Bill de Blasio.
The New York Senator also promised an injection of an extra $6billion in other federal aid through stimulus checks and funding for the MTA as he praised de Blasio and promised Big Apple residents 'help is on the way'.

The Democrats certainly seem in a hurry to bury Cuomo, politically.
After it came to light that Cuomo and his aides were hiding their culpability in Covid-19 deaths in nursing homes.

Great move putting 32 billion into the hands of the man who gave his wife $850 million taxpayer dollars for a mental health project, and then the money disappeared.

Poor Cuomo. Just last year he was the media darling. Now all the other Democrats smell blood in the water and are starting to circle around for the kill.
Did it at least improve deBlasio's wife's mental health? Then it was not a complete loss.

There is no way a Democrat is criticizing another Democrat unless there is someone they can control they want to replace him with.
It looks like the US government working with the state governments are the biggest money laundering operation ever known.
