Most people plan to continue to wear masks in public, even after receiving their full coronavirus vaccine doses, an Axios/Ipsos survey released this week found.
While the U.S. is making strides in vaccine distribution and administration and Americans are increasing their daily activities — going to the grocery store and visiting friends and relatives — and coming out of quarantine, most are not prepared to ditch their face coverings quite yet.

My prepared response:
“I’ll pretend yours is working & you can pretend I’m wearing one.”
Yes, it’s grudging compliance, except for certain virtue signaling ones (their double masks give them away). I don’t believe forr a minute that they wear them while “visiting friends and relatives” if my neighborhood is any indication. Mask wearing around residential streets or people’s homes is so rare that it attracts our attention if it happens.

Who in their right mind would take an experimental vaccine if they didn’t trust it to actually protect them - NOBODY! They are mindless automatons
Most of America has lost their minds over a moderately dangerous illness. Barely dangerous to the vast majority, and run of the mill for anyone under 40.

Even if she was right, how can anyone think that it’s ok to ask a stranger that and end up with a positive outcome? Karens are mentally ill.

Since I’ve been “vaccinated” by infection and subsequent recovery, I don’t feel the need to mask. But I still wear one if it makes other people feel less uncomfortable.
Why do you frequent stores that require you to wear a mask? Are there not freedom loving alternatives to shop at? Things won't change until people start saying "NO!" and spending their money elsewhere.

I was verbally assaulted by a karen in a Publix parking lot. I was taking my buggy to the return area. The wind was blowing towards me. At about 100 feet she started screaming at me to pull my mask up. I ignored her but she kept on coming. Two guys walking near me took off when I stopped because I had “the look” on my face. For those that don’t know, when a Southern woman gets “the look”, it’s time to take cover. A come a part is fixin to commence. This heifer got about ten feet from me, screaming like a haint and crying. I told her there was “medication that will help your problem” and rolled on. Hubby was so glad I didn’t shoot her.
My large extended family is pushing me to get the “vaccine” as I am “high risk” due to my having Multiple Sclerosis. I see all this confusion about what of the many different brands are more effective (Pfizer, J&J, etc.) and different doses (one shot versus 2-3 shot series) and then the many strains that are morphing into seperate? Covid threats. I don’t know if it’s true, I’m still looking into it, but I’ve heard of the ingredient in some brands as being “Luceferian 66.6” WTF is that all about? I’m holding off. I’m locked down anyway and never see anyone but my family and you have to wear the stupid mask in any circumstance here in Socialist Washington state. So why in the hell would I need to get it? Do they think I’ll become another Typhoid Mary? Something is just not right about all this. The only threat I see to me is my family pressuring to get the “shot”.

Curiously, (well maybe not) the Gold Standard research insisted upon for interventions such as Hydroxychloroquine cocktails, etc. has not been also insisted upon for masks and social distancing. Certainly, a year has been long enough time for those randomized, controlled, double blind studies to be conducted. Unless of course those outcomes were not desired.
The most confounding issue in all of this is that while masking makes sense in clinical or nursing settings (with a proper masks and correct technique) it makes no sense where and especially how it is being done and mandated.
One final point, by now I would have expected that some of our oldest family members and friends - especially those with certain co-morbidities would have died. But they have not. As it stands today, my wife and I do not personally know one person who has died either from or with this virus. And given our years in military, government and private healthcare that seems most remarkable.

A leaky vaccine, means that only the symptoms of the disease are prevented. Infection of the host and the transmission of the virus are not inhibited by the vaccine.
This contrasts with most other vaccines, where infection of the host is prevented.
You are tampering with the natural mutation process and potentiating deadly strains that will both evade the vaccines and kill at a much higher rate.
