Garbage, she only ruled that the government does not have to release documents describing internal decisions via the FOIA. barrett is a proven deep state stooge. Trump was ill advised on all his judicial appointments. The real shame is that there are so few lawyers in this country that actually believe in upholding the rule of law. The downstream effect is the judiciary we have now.

I thought she already ruled to screw over Trump by saying Texas had no standing to require the government be a true republic.

What exactly is "garbage"? That was the only question that was being considered in the case. Was she supposed to rule about something else?

This is actually a deep state ruling. It protects the government from being accountable.

The headline is meant to imply that barrett ruled against the environmental cause. When in fact she was ruling to protect the government from transparency rules. That's garbage.

There is a Freeper named GreyFriar who spent his career on the government side handling FOIA requests. He obviously has a perspective we don’t have. He views this ruling as a good thing. Perhaps he will chime in.

Gorsuch looks good, Kavanaugh has already “grown” into his position. All three took a powder on a stolen presidency. Unfortunately, you can’t expect to put a real conservative on the court when you have to rely on Uniparty (R) hacks for confirmation.

No, she ruled that Government can keep secrets from citizens.
Amy Conehead Barrett say if you want to know who murdered Ami Barrett, you have no right to know.
You want to know who ordered the National Guard to surround the capitol in early march? You have no right to know.

She’s a statist tool, selected for her genitalia.

Whoopee!
I got mine... The hell with you...

I still (probably naively) hold out hope she will be the first ever GOP woman SCOTUS appointment that won’t go south (meaning left)...

At one point I thought that was a great comeback.

Instead it was her complete grasp of the U. S. Constitution...

We will know where she stands when the next firearm case comes before the SCOTUS. The Dems will undoubtedly establish some sweeping gun legislation.

The ruling is good. It is not uncommon in regulatory actions for a corp to withhold draft documents as privileged. An agency holding back draft documents makes the same sense.
