Donald Trump is set to make his first trip to New York since leaving the White House amid an apparent rift with son-in-law Jared Kushner who the ex-president is said to be angry with over his election loss.
Trump is jetting back to the Big Apple this weekend after spending the last six weeks holed up at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, since he snubbed Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20.
News of his visit comes amid reports of escalating tensions between Trump and former White House Senior Adviser Jared in the days since they both left DC.

He didn’t lose and Trump has said the repeatedly. So, that wasn’t what the rift was about.
The problem with the question is that you believe the Daily Mail's reporting.
There likely was rift but it wasn't for the reason stated.
The only “problem” POTUS Trump had was not being familiar with how the Swamp operates since he was an Outsider.
He had to depend on the advice of others when making Appointments.
As to his having Ivanka and her Husband on board, they were probably amongst the handful of People he could trust.
This story is made up BS. His S-I-L is the one who put the Mideast Peace Agreement to together, another accomplishment the Trump Administration was ever given credit for.
I agree. What ever issues Trump has with family the outside world will not know... His family is the only ones I think he can trust not to set traps for him. Lots of trump supporters try to say that any mistake is becouse Ivanka and Kushner. laughable they are not giving trump discernment on the information he takes in and not wanting to believe like the rest of us he can make a mistake.

Trump may have felt that he owed it to Jared after Jared smoothed the way for him to do the necessary in Israel. Jared was a big help there.
Total BS Trump was fully expecting the rigged election. It had nothing to do with Pee Wee Kushner.

Bannon would had been quicker to point out mail in ballots/maillot harvesting. But the question is would Bannon had been able to do anything about it? Or would the outcome be the same anyway because it's up to each state on how to conduct their election.
kushner played some funny business with the money and with the former campaign director - the way he left and all. kushner made a killing and monies were diverted from the campaign. The daughter and him won’t be married forever!

Outcome very well could have been the same..but I do think the pressure would have been different as would a more prompt response with legal challenges.
It is entirely possible that Kushner wanted a better legal ground game but got overruled to save money.
