DanielDaniel Griffin wasn’t sure what to expect when his patients with chronic COVID-19 symptoms started getting vaccinated. There was some concern that the shots might make things worse by triggering the immune system. Luckily, the opposite seemed to be true.
“I started getting texts and calls from some of my colleagues saying hey, are your patients with long COVID reporting that they’re feeling better after the vaccine?” says Griffin, an infectious diseases clinician and researcher at Columbia University. When he started talking with patients, he saw that they were. “It’s not 100 percent, but it does seem like to be around a third,” he says.
Early reports from Griffin and others hint that people with persistent symptoms may improve after getting vaccinated. Information is still limited, and the data is largely anecdotal — but if the pattern holds, it could help researchers understand more about why symptoms of COVID-19 persist in some people, and offer a path to relief.

What’s a “long covid patient”? It that someone over 6 feet tall?

I laugh at the statement “long covid patients.” If you look around you, we are all long covid patients. We are forced into protection from the illness that ultimately forces us to make choices not in our best interest causing harm physically, mentally, financially, and morally. Isn’t that curbing our lives?
And with the death rate of the illness total at 2.58 million for 116.07 million cases, that is right at 3% of the infected not including the uninfected.

So what is a long term patient? Aren’t we all? And for most, isn’t quarantine at home the same as in a hospital? And the 3% of those that actually get sick know who they are before they are sick since a vast majority is related to age and pre-existing conditions and the younger ones mostly pre-existing conditions. For them it’s more than a mask. But for others, it should be less than hiding in a barricaded cave with more fear of retaliation of and from the government than in the virus itself.

My understanding is that the conventional antivirals (there are ten or more sub-categories) have little to no effect on coronavirus (but this was already known from the cold-type cv).
Definitely not 100% immune but it is always a little unsettling when any vaccine fails to provoke even a minor reaction. (”Did it take?”)
I was referring to the specific antiviral used for Covid 19. Sorry I did not use the name of the medication.

The real simple truth is this: wellness MDs, functional medicine MDs and conventional MDs who don’t worship bureaucratic public health pronouncements (like the FLCCC team) could save the cv19 patients who otherwise are dying under your care, and the care of MDs like you. It is that simple. The fact that you have bought into and promote the narrative...well I don’t need to repeat myself yet again.
