Last month, Gab CEO Andrew Torba revealed that the New Tech site had been banned from three different banks in the space of three weeks. On Friday in a statement posted online, Torba confirmed that yet another bank had banned the site from its services. “It’s getting to the point where we are seriously considering buying our own bank,” Torba said. “Funny how this started happening right when Biden got into office,” he added.
We were banned from the 4th bank in 4 weeks today. It’s getting to the point where we are seriously considering buying our own bank. I’m not kidding. Funny how this started happening right when Biden got into office.

As National File reported, one of the banks had expressly confirmed that they could no longer do business with the New Tech site because of “all the bad things the press has written about Gab,” with media reports claiming that the site is an “alt-right social media network,” a “haven for extremists,” and even suggesting that the site “leads to violence”:
“Gab follows the law and operates a legal business in the United States,” Torba told National File. “We sell hats, shirts, and a software license to our GabPRO service. We have a community that respects law and order. Yet we have banks and other services banning us left and right.”
Torba encouraged anyone who believes in free speech to “seek out Christian banks and local credit unions, and to stop doing business with banks that do not share or support American values.” He argued that it won’t be long before “churches, businesses, and individuals who refuse the woke orthodoxy of critical theory that has consumed every corner of our culture” will also be refused service by banks.
“We must proactively cancel them all before they cancel us,” Torba concluded. The banks are not the first financial service to have rejected and “cancelled” Gab – in 2018, PayPal terminated their relationship with the free speech social network.
National File contacted Gab for comment on this story, and will update this article if there is a response.
A Communist Purge Is Underway & Nothing Is Being Done About It!
I’m glad you are...you have the financial power use it
Buy a bank in Texas.
It's far too easy to simply have the government cut off your ability to buy food, pay rent, or even have a job.

Some folks here are mentioning problems around the edges but missing the overall mendacity.
I know nothing about Gab, truly zero, but the dark forces pummeling Gab are not merely threatening banks with bad PR or a boycott. If as a household or business you do business with Bank A, switching to Bank B is not like pulling a 12-pack of Coke off the shelf rather than a 12-pack of Pepsi. Switching is time-consuming, costly and challenging. So these dark forces are not threatening anything as benign as a boycott. They are threatening to ruin these banks by other means, surely none of them legal.
Moreover, these dark forces are surveilling Gab, again by means that are very likely illegal, to know their every move and to preempt them from engaging in any normal business transactions.
The left does this more and more often brazenly and in your face.
A secured loan line would force the bank to keep doing business with him or force the default penalty.
I've always wondered why conservative sites have not approached Lloyd's for a quote against tortious business interference resulting in shutdown at current scale. Lloyd's will write anything for the price. In the case of Parlor, had the policy been written correctly, Lloyd's would have paid.
Count wife & I in!
It would be better than sex (of course when your 87, brushing your teeth is better than sex) to be able to dump BOA (since 1988) & SunTrust (since 1991) and return to an America-supporting bank...
Thiel doesn't want to be cut out of future vulture opportunities, and won't listen to anyone who can napkin the exponential value of a free-speech creditor.
There's an obvious opening for a 'new Thiel' to do what you suggest via crypto.
It’d be interesting to use Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission argue against this type of discrimination in public accommodations, especially banks.
As usual with the current court, only Thomas and Gorsuch saw through to the heart of the issue, that the ruling against the cake shop violated its free speech protections.
Seems to me that both the majority and dissenting opinions offer a remedy to Gab here against the banks. Maybe the legal minds here can help clarify, but I can’t see any consistency with this decision and discrimination against a consumer based upon legally protected speech.
Every "pawn shop, gun store" worth their salt has figured how to go cash flow. That got weeded out in the megausury credit lines blue-lining the aforesaid in 2014-2015.
There is an opportunity for someone to set up a payment system through bitcoin that completely bypasses the central bankers and the credit card companies.
When it happens, the central bankers and credit card companies will be on the endangered species list.

FR should be busy working on a Plan B and a Plan C for operations.
Time to start working with cryptocurrencies.
That’s why I said it was likely he might know someone in banking, who is familiar with all that, FDIC, Federal Reserve etc.
**********You think each of Gab’s banks decided independently to “go woke”? No, they each were leaned on, one after the other, by the same Deep State regulators.**********
Exactly the main point of my post. Operation Choke Point does exactly that. Obama used it to shut down pawn shops and gun dealers. Biden plans to crank it up again, this looks exactly like the start of it.

Is everyone here starting to understand that corporate America is no longer a friend of Conservatives. Maybe they once were but not anymore.
Next we’ll find that no one is willing to SELL a bank to him.
Or the FED or FEC will step in and say some excuse why republicans cannot buy or sell.
First banks, then eventually groceries.
Go to a local bank or credit union.
