Goofy reasoning from a normally clear thinking Christisn man. When you fight for religious freedom, you are not allied with the Devil. The Devil does not like religious freedom because it allows Christianity to be practiced. The Devil would prefer state sponsored atheism (China) or Islsm, neither of which allows religious freedom. That6why the Devil hated pre-Biden USA.

True.

I believe the wrath is coming.. but it may be for the lost.. those who rejected the Savior who came... the world as a whole does not believe.. nothing happens they can see... so we who believe are fools.

It may be the wrath is upon us lately.. was Trump rejected? yes..by the elite.. did they hate him? yes they hated him without cause. Are the progressives pro global and anti God. Yes. Do they hate Christians? Yes.

They have monitored speech... cut it off when it does not agree with their beliefs.
They have opened the border flood gates and we are in a crisis.
They want global everything and I read Barry was the one who would govern.

Did God appoint His people... those who are His...to wrath? No.

Nope. He made it quite clear.

There are only two religions in the world.

The one that says you need a savior, the one God provided for all; and all the rest that have you working to save yourself - and none of those work.

No he’s not.
He’s actually probably one of the last few sane Pastor’s left in this hell-hole called America.

Thomas Jefferson state in a letter to the Danbury, Conn. Baptists. He said:.......

.... “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should `make no law respecting an establishment of religion, OR prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

In other words we are free to practice one’s religion or exercise one’s beliefs ‘without intervention’ by the government and to be free of the exercise of authority ‘by a church through the government’.....

Agree with what you posted.

The lost are in for some insane and suicidal times and it’s their fault since they voted for it and brought it on themselves.

The religious freedom he is deriding gave us the freedom to worship God and practice our faith as we saw fit.

Exactly...

His focus is correct. He was called to preach the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ. Every other religion leads to hell.

As a Christian his first priority is to save souls from Hell, not protect their “rights”. True, but it is not an either/or scenario. Paul's first priority was to preach the gospel, but he invoked his rights as a Roman citizen to do so though they extended to lost sols as well, vs. only supporting freedom to preach the gospel.

In the Old Testament, the government of Isreal was formed around the Laws of God, not the rights of man. Which is more important?

Did you read my 1st post? The issue was never which is more important but what rejection of freedom of speech and religion leads to. We cannot operate as a theocracy, and thus it is as my comments said.

I wonder what Martin Niemoeller would think of this attitude.

. . . says the guy that does not believe that the Blood of Christ is efficacious in the salvation of a soul.

You mean MacArthur? He once simply equate the blood with death, but has since corrected himself.

I'm not sure how to take your post. Do you think he's correct, or wrong? 'thinkers' like this are one of the reasons I abandoned organized religion decades ago.

I think it is at least paradoxical that he opposes freedom of religion while appealing to it.

Any government that doesn’t allow religious freedom certainly wouldn’t allow the preaching of the Gospel. The preaching of the Gospel commanded by Jesus.

Governments that don’t allow religious freedom are totalitarian and don’t want any competition or criticism that stems from the Gospel and Biblical Christianity. These totalitarian governments want the people to worship them.

MacArthur can’t recognize tyranny.

I start to have a problem with *anyone*, who claims that they have some sort of monopoly on truth, this this self-proclaimed monopoly on truth gives them the right to enforce their views on others.

Meaning that since ultimately Truth is exclusive by nature, and you believe claiming to exclusively have the Truth, and censor others, is wrong, then pluralism must exclusively be the Truth, and those who do not agree are wrong (and should be silent)?
