He talks a good game, and votes with Repubs if there is no chance of a bill passing. When the rubber hits the road and the Dems need his vote for whatever radical stuff, he is a reliable vote for them.

HR 1 is the most outrages bill in a generation. I pray a couple of rat Senators will kill it. I don’t trust the SC to stop any bill that concerns elections. HR 1 means a locked permanent rat majority.
I think Bernie and his far-left cohorts ought to spend their time trying to get the ‘stimulus’ money passed. If this entire bill fails, there will be millions of angry Democrats out there turning on their party. “Where’s my $1,400 and my $400 a week?!”

He was also elected governor of Maine twice as an “Independent”.....once in 1994 and again in 1998.

The people calling on Coons and Carper to be primaried for their votes on the minimum-wage bill are doing so because they think that they aren’t Leftist enough, so they’d probably like the Leftists that ran against Coons and Carper last time.
Minimum wage laws mandate that if your job skills aren’t worth the minimum wage you must remain unemployed. They don’t guarantee anyone a job.
The minimum wage should be zero. That’s what some children of rich parents doing a Congressional internship work for. Children of poor parents should also have every opportunity to develop their job skills until they are worth well paid employment.

There should be no federal minimum wage, it should be up to each state, period.

He and others are trying to do a fast-track economic, etc. destruction of America to put ALL small businesses out of business with a “mandated”, etc. WAY TOO HIGH “minimum wage”, etc.
