US mulls possible military response to rocket attack on Iraq base

The White House on Wednesday said it is considering a military response to a rocket attack on an air base in western Iraq that houses U.S. and coalition troops.

At least 10 rockets struck Al Asad air base in Iraq's Anbar province earlier Wednesday, with a U.S. contractor suffering a heart attack during the bombardment and later dying.

“We are following that through right now,” President Biden told reporters. “Thank God, no one was killed by the rocket. One individual, a contractor, died of a heart attack. But we’re identifying who’s responsible and we’ll make judgments.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki, meanwhile, said the administration is still assessing who is to blame for the attack but indicated that the “calculated, proportionate” U.S. airstrikes last week “will be our model moving forward.”

Psaki was referring to the U.S. strike on an Iranian-backed militia along the Iraq-Syria border on Feb. 25 that resulted in the death of one militiaman. That attack was in response to a Feb. 16 strike on U.S.-led troops in northern Iraq that killed a civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member.

“If we assess a further response is warranted, we will take action again in a manner and time of our choosing,” Psaki said. “What we won't do is make a hasty and ill-informed decision.”

LOL. Expect a repeat of more of Obama's worthless red lines.

They'll give the Iranians everything they want as soon as the kickbacks are arranged and a means of payment secured.

They dared not attack out troops when Trump was in the White House.

[US mulls possible military response to rocket attack on Iraq base]

Iran senses weakness. Maybe $400 million in cash on pallets from a C-130.

Yeah, that’s the ticket.

No one was killed by the rocket.....Except the guy that died.

Do we usually retaliate when no one dies?

The Military Industrial Complex are a bunch of happy people again. Four years of peace was just too much for them to take.

They need to be palettes of cash dropping out of that B-52 instead of bombs.

The White House Puppet Palace on Wednesday said it is considering a military response to a rocket attack on an air base in western Iraq that houses U.S. and coalition troops...

“We are following that through right now,” President Biden's earpiece told reporters. “Thank God, no one was killed by the rocket. One individual, a contractor, died of a heart attack. But we’re identifying who’s responsible and we’ll make judgments.”

White House Puppet Palace press secretary Ginger Goebbels, meanwhile, said the administration Biden's puppeteers are still assessing who is to blame for the attack but indicated that the “calculated, proportionate” U.S. airstrikes last week “will be our model moving forward.”

fixed it

Wonder how much money defense contractors are paying the politicians to ramp things up again. They feared losing money when Trump was president.

the (C)lowns (I)n (A)ction already ordered a counter strike on the missle firing syrian/whatevers... and they publicized it by saying it was “SANCTIONED” by JoeBama. Not ordered mind you, as a CinC would (see: Trump and removal of Soleimani)— but “sanctioned” .

This is how we know joebama is NOT the prezident, has no capacity to run a damn thing. It is also a policy push that has zero support, thanks to Trump’s great success in the Abraham Accords. The Saudis and Israelis have this— are in the drivers seat— not joebama and certainly not Lloyd Austin the seatwarming SecDef. slow learner.

As jen psaki already said— this would be the “model” === more “sanctioned” clown ordered Predator strikes. What stupidity.
