What we noticed was many of the closed or leased stores, the street vendors now occupy the fronts of those stores. No leases! What’s not to like?

There are HUNDREDS of You Tubes out there showing block after block after block of LA at night. Square miles of filth and human debris.
There are videos out there of folks driving for miles with nothing but tents and garbage.
This video of nice LA is nothing compared to how pathetic the city really is.
The one improvement the video narrator could have added would have been to include - every few blocks - the cross streets as they passed down an avenue/boulevard.
It would give greater context to exactly where they were at at any time, because the major east-west avenues in Los Angeles are miles long with changing neighborhoods along them.
Without that detail we have to accept the video’s anecdotal evidence, but the detail - if it was included - could show wide differences in conditions, depending on exactly where each segment was filmed.
This guy ought to go filming the many many blocks of LA some night, if he dares.
Thats where the drugs, crime, filth and real trash is.
