Cuomo: “Excuse me I’d like to return the hospital ship.”
Ivanja: “May I ask why?”
Cuomo: “........For spite...”
Ivanka: “Spite?”
Jerry: “That’s right. I don’t care for the guy who gave it to me.”
Ivanka: “I don’t think you can return a hospital for spite.”
Cuomo: “What do you mean?”
Ivanka: “Well if there was some problem with the hospital. If it were unsatisfactory in some way,then
we could do it for you, but I’m afraid spite doesn’t fit into any of our conditions for a return”
Cuomo: “That’s ridiculous, I want to return it. What’s the difference what the reason is.”
Ivanja: “Let me speak with the manager...excuse me .............Jared!”
(walks over to the manager and whispers)
Ivanka “........spite.....”(Manager walks over)
Jared: “What seems to be the problem?”
Cuomo : “Well I want to return this hospital ship and she asked me why and I said for spite and now she
won’t take it back.”
Jared: “That’s true. You can’t return an item based purely on spite.”
Cuomo:. “Well So fine then ..then I don’t want it and then that’s why I’m returning it”
Jared: “Well you already said spite so......”
Cuomo: “But I changed my mind..”
Jared: “No...you said spite...Too late.”
Yep. But don’t ask Snopes, they call it misleading, and claim only a few patients were sent there due to bureaucratic red tape. Why did I think snopes just might be honest for once??? Must be the pollen...maybe I need to switch to decaf...
But it was there, and you are correct, Cuomo did not have to send one person to a nursing home.

And it’s a damn shame we no longer have a free and independent press. In the old days, bulldog reporters would have uncovered this scandal early, and publicized it. Cuomo would have been forced to change course, and so many lives would have been saved.
But instead the media spent its time swooning over Cuomo’s Emmy award.

Good question, but I think it’s because SEXUAL HARASSMENT” gets peoples’ attention must faster than “corruption.” Plus, by now we are all aware of the mountain of corruption that is politics, and unfortunately have become numbed to it.
Sexual harassment points specifically at a person. Corruption is systemic and reminds people how bad they all are. Discovery would be problematic.
And also turned the Jacob Javitts Center into a hospital ... for free ... never used

Having become a seasoned citizen, I believe strongly that you can tell a whole lot about a man or a woman in how they treat those who can do nothing to “help” them.
It is a true window to their soul and a great predictor of behavior and motives for a politician.
My bet is Valerie Jarrett put the hit out on Cuomo...she’s who is really running things, IMHO.
Not only the 1000 bed USNS Comfort (182 patients), but also the underutilized 1000 bed Javits Center-turned-hospital (treated 1094 total patients). Cuomo wasted precious resources at his disposal while killing off nursing home patients.
That would also include HCQ and zinc. How many lives could of been saved?
Like so many other states, he’s elected by the urban strongholds in the state. Folks that are wealthy enough to not be affected by the policies(Manhattan, Long Island Dems) and folks that are on the government teet. Then toss in some voter fraud and voila, Gov Cuomo
NY is a pretty Conservative state. Apparently, Suffolk County went Red for the first time, if not ever, in a very long time.
All to pave the way for future Governor, Letitia James.

The sad thing is ,is that this leech como is all set in life (moneywise.) We that are outside of the public trough and (usually) abide by law’s concern ourselves with the everyday costs associated with living .
