Set Yourself Apart from This Corrupt Generation

A few years back, Jim Caviezel spoke at a number of venues to discuss his new movie, Paul, Apostle of Christ. Rather than shying away from his Christianity or attempting to filter his words through the lens of pop culture's censorship, he passionately urged his listeners to become "proud warriors, animated by their faith" in fighting, and even dying, for the preservation of human freedom.

When he spoke of freedom, he was clear to articulate that God's gift to His children is not the freedom to do recklessly whatever we wish, but rather the freedom to choose wisely how we ought to act in pursuit of moral lives. He answered Maximilian Kolbe's trenchant observation that "indifference is the greatest sin" by charging every listener to "fight for that authentic freedom" that requires us to live courageously. "And with the Holy Spirit as your shield and Christ as your sword, may you join St. Michael and all the angels in sending Lucifer and all his henchmen straight back to hell where they belong!"

It is sadly rare these days to hear such moral clarity, particularly from any kind of public figure, who makes himself a target by refusing to conform to our culture's secular and pagan fascinations. Caviezel has not been seduced by the lie that "good" and "evil" are relative concepts determined by man and man alone. He knows that the opposite is true. There absolutely is "good" worth defending to our last breaths. There absolutely is "evil" that requires us to fight until we can fight no longer. And because the world is right now blinded by wickedness and corruption, those of us who are still free to see truth must work tirelessly to free those around us, too.

Amen.

Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.

- Luke 6:22 (NASB)

Caviezel is correct, but we now live in a time whwn fighting for human freedom means fighting against the illegitimate, criminal, tyrannical junta in DC that has stolen the election and taken over this country. Is Caviezel “down” for that, I wonder?

It is no easy thing to watch the nation's political custodians destroy America by rejecting her foundations. It is not easy to watch millions of American citizens timidly obey politicians' demands that they destroy their own livelihoods and consent to house arrest in the name of a virus. It is not easy to watch members of Congress join tech monopolists and news anchors in aggressively targeting speech they dislike. It is not easy to watch the Second Amendment under attack by a president who was put into office by, as one Time writer admitted candidly, a "secret cabal of wealthy and politically connected elites" who conspired "to manipulate the rules and laws of an election in order to win." It is not easy to watch domestic intelligence services willfully ignore the violence of Antifa terrorists while aggressively arresting and prosecuting Americans for agreeing with Time that the election was won illegitimately. It is not easy to watch the Supreme Court prove that it is irredeemably compromised by refusing to consider election lawsuits that might expose how corrupt America's elections have become. And it is certainly not easy to listen to Republicans like Liz Cheney reinforce Democrats' fever-pitched lies that "white supremacy," a blood libel rhetorically identical to Hitler's obsession with Jewish supremacy a century ago, is at the root of all our nation's problems. It is tempting and entirely understandable to feel overwhelmed by the madness unfolding in America daily.

Worth repeating. Time to take a renewed stand.

Despite the fences and razor wire and military troops, I don't think Nanzi TRULY fears a physical uprising. She knows we are outmatched in that regard. Those things are the outward manifestation of what is going on in the Hell that is her twisted little mind.

What she fears deep within her soul is a Spiritual assault.

Our first responsibility is to pray to God and let Him fight our battles for us.

She is powerless against that.

My agreement .... it all depends on where God and what America’s military decide .....

There are about 2.2 million active and reserve service people in all branches of the US military combined. In any year, about 20% of the population of the US goes hunting. That’s about 70 million people armed with rifles and pistols. I’d say that such people tend to be sympathetic to fighting for their constitutional rights. If I were in uniform I’d say the odds are 70 to 1 that the US military would lise such a confrontation. And that doesn’t even consider that most of the service members would be on the side of the “insurrectionists.” This is why the crooks and criminals inDC are pissing in their pants about what happened on January 6th.

Razor wire, Ntl Guard, a walled-in Capitol .... are the outward manifestations of the torment in her twisted, hellish little mind.
What Nanzi fears most is a Spiritual assault. She is powerless against our prayers to ask God to fight our battles for us.

Nice take ...........

A government based on personal freedom and personal responsibility only works with a certain type of people. I fear we are no long such a people. To quote Alexis De Tocqueville (Democracy In America):

"The Constitution of the United States is like those exquisite productions of human industry which ensure wealth and renown to their inventors, but which are profitless in any other hands. ... But (although Mexico copied their Anglo-American neighbors' Constitution) they were unable to create or to introduce the spirit and the sense which give it life .... present day Mexico is alternately the victim of anarchy and the slave of military despotism."

I've always maintained lib/progs despise people of faith for one reason:
faith teaches us about human nature....the lib/progs dont like being unmasked.

Also, faith teaches about the two natures of man......the good and the evil.

Our govt was structured to bring out the good in man's nature.

But w/ the ascendancy of progs and libs, its pretty clear, they have unleashed the worst instincts in man's nature.

Fantastic. Thank you for sharing this. Love Caviezel. And I remember that speech. So clear and passionate.

It is time for the church to find our strength and stand up. No more luke warm.

I recently read an article about an accountant who worked for a very wealthy family.

He was stealing from them.

He had bought four yachts.

Four yachts.....not one.....four yachts.

Our society has reached the point where it is not enough to have one yacht.

You must have multiple yachts in order to achieve success and happiness.

And if you can’t get those multiple yachts by working and inventing, then you steal to get them.

We can try all kinds of social work and legal actions, but nothing will be better until we have better people.

The first step is to remove all the media that worships extravagant wealth.

Funny, I believe Resident China Joe Biden coincidentally has FOUR mansions, on a government salary too!

Last time I checked, I believe that you can only be in one place at any given time. At least to do anything. I had to write that because some ever vigilant freeper will argue with me about that.

That means that you aren’t acquiring four yachts or four mansions because you really like sailing or living in a big house.

You have them to display your wealth.

No, we now live in a time when the battle is for the lives of those who can't save themselves.

Are we "down" for that, I wonder?

Without results, and soon, America is doomed, and the world along with her.

I have only turned to the Bible since all this began - mainly because I didn't want take some action in resisting all this that would damn my soul for eternity.

One thing I've read is that governments are often (if not always) the instruments of God - either for reward or punishment. I can imagine the US being in line for some serious punishment.

However, I've also read that it is legitimate to defend oneself from those who declare themselves to be your enemy, and also that the old saying .. "The best defense is a good offense", can also be true.

It isn't necessary for an adversary to declare themself to be an enemy with the spoken or written word. Obviously, if they physically attack you they have declared you to be their enemy.

I also believe that requiring a person to be vaccinated against their will is an attack, just as surely as they had picked up a sword.

It’s not the wealth that’s the problem - it’s the love of wealth as a substitute for a sane culture. Wealth is needed to accomplish good... the love of wealth for it’s own sake is where is turns evil.

Our cultures = much of it - has been swept away by a concerted effort of insane narcissistic left-wing totalitarians. So if the people at ‘the top’ are not there for reasons we respect, they’ll recreate the reason they’re there with mansions and yachts and stuffed in home libraries.

DC is filled with people ‘with the trappings of respectability’ who are trash. (Libraries of books never read... mansions etc) Stuff they think provides cover...

Yes.

But the accountant stole enough to purchase four yachts.

When I was a boy, I looked at boating magazines and dreamed of owning a 35 footer.

I didn’t dream of owning four yachts.

You can’t sail on all of them at the same time.

Democrat City is truly Satan’s playground. I’m so disgusted by their evil ways that I pray God will use all of His Righteous Fury and Wrath to smite that horrible town to dust.

.....And may the dust be blown out to sea so that all may understand God’s plan for those who maliciously defy Him.
