>”That’s the press release, but I’m seeing the cases still high... second only to last month. Data folks, DATA.”
Here’s the data I’m seeing. (See the graphs at the bottom of the page.) Looks pretty good.

What we are seeing now is likely a SEASONAL DECLINE and likely not the result of triple-masking, vaccines, or statist policies.
The majority of deaths in most countries can be attributed to causes that feature a distinct seasonal pattern. The figure depicts the relative monthly frequencies of nine selected causes of death in the United States for women and men combined for the years 1959–2014. The reported number of counts in parentheses in the title of each panel is the actual number of deaths.
Viruses gonna virus. Even non-viruses gonna non-virus.
My take: this contagious yet mildly lethal bug is with us Forever. We never get herd immunity on influenza, and flu shots aren't very effective. If I'm right, this thing will start coming back in the Fall, after everyone's been peer-pressured into getting immunized.
When that happens, we will face a choice: stay bubble wrapped forever and maybe your average lifespan remains 77 years, or live free and maybe you'll die on average when you're 75.
