Federal prosecutors have charged more than 300 people with taking part in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, the Department of Justice said Friday, and at least 280 of them have been arrested.
"The investigation into those responsible is moving at a speed and scale that's unprecedented, and rightly so. Those responsible must be held to account, and they will be," acting Deputy Attorney General John Carlin said.
On Thursday, acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman told Congress of her concern that members of some of the same groups involved in last month's riot -- who said they wanted to attack the Capitol and even kill members of Congress -- might try to target President Joe Biden's first message to a joint session.

That just really makes me angry. Where was this dispatch during the five year long coup d’etat against President Trump? That was a million times worse than an unruly mob entering the Capitol building egged on by antifa commie goons.
But it shouldn't be more than that. If so, they need to charge ANTIFA "protestors" the same in Portland Where they are attacking a federal courthouse.

How many of the Antifa mostly peaceful protesters, who attacked police for weeks, were arrested? Was there any real effort made to track them down?
Because President Trump was going to speak that day, the auntiefaz/BurnLootMurder and other organizers planned their “riot” for that day. If he had decided to speak another day, they would have planned their little gig for another day.
