hypothetical question; if trump had not addressed the rally on the 6th, would the, er, incursion at the capitol taken place?

if he had been, say, out of the country that day, and not addressed the mostly peaceful protesters, would the incident have still occurred?

asking for a friend.

Probably not because there wouldn’t have been a rally that day. So what? You think you’re being cute “asking for a friend”. But basically, your suggestion is that he cannot hold a rally to demonstrate public opinion against the theft of the election.

Hypothetical question. If the election was not blatantly stolen right before America’s eyes, would the capitol trespassing have taken place?

Because President Trump was going to speak that day, the auntiefaz/BurnLootMurder and other organizers planned their “riot” for that day. If he had decided to speak another day, they would have planned their little gig for another day.

Would Franciszek Honiok have been killed as a saboteur if the Polish gave up the city of Danzig to the Germans?
