Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has hired former Trump campaign press aide Erin Perrine as his new communications director.
Perrine, who served as director of press communications for former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, confirmed the appointment in a post on Twitter.
If he were to own it and maybe he could overcome the bad optics. Just say yeah I went to the beach during a blizzard but at least I didn't send infected people to nursing homes, killing thousands. Unfortunately, Republican politicians are so whipped be the media they just roll over.

These people screw us as taxpayers, then they just settle on screwing each other. :-(

I hope Ted pulls through and overcomes the staywarmgate thing, it’s not like we have a million guys in Congress at this point.
