All of a sudden, here it is the end of February and there is no State of the Union (SOTU) address scheduled for President Biden. That’s odd because last month, Biden promised what sounds exactly like a SOTU:
"Next month, in my first appearance before a joint session of Congress, I will lay out my 'Build Back Better' recovery plan," he said. "It will make historic investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, innovation, and research and development in clean energy."
AP and PBS both got wind that the address was to be given on February 23 in and said so in posts that are now deep-sixed:

If the State of the Union can be “virtual” and “social distanced” enough, the movie company CGI experts can make Biden look real on TV.

You forgot the sarcasm tag. President Trump gave his first State of the Union Address on February 29, 2017. If you want a real laugh you should look at the editing done on leftist Wikipedia. The changed it to his first “public address before a joint session of the United States Congress”. And on the sidebar it says, “Unofficial State of the Union Address”.
Yes, I remember tuning in and hearing the media calling it an “Unofficial State of the Union Address”... NOT!!! what A BUNCH OF MORONS OVER AT WIKIPEDIA! They will change or erase history in any way that they are capable of to fit their narrative and protect the senile old place holder for anchor baby President Kamila.
If a Dem President today was allotted 1 hour for state of the union speech, the first 59 minutes would be devoted to the skin pigmentation of the citizenry and the last minute would be devoted to the necessity of raising taxes
I have said more than once that Old Joe would not go past the first 100 days.

When Biden delivers his speech to the joint session of Congress, it will not be called the State of the Union address, just as other addresses to the joint session was not called the State of the Union in 2017, 2009, 2001, 1993, etc, etc.
Distinction without a difference.

The time slot for the address was indicated in my local newspaper’s television schedule. Someone informed the publishers that there was to be a State of Union address on Feb. 23. We expected old Joe to give the address and were prepared to turn off the television.
What happened?
Uncle Joe has half a mind to give a SOTU speech.
