Donald Trump was playing golf on Thursday at his Florida course as he readies for his return to the political fray with an eagerly-awaited speech at CPAC on Sunday.

As he took to the greens, in New York City prosecutors were beginning to comb through millions of pages of Trump's tax returns.

Danny Frost, spokesman for the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus Vance Jr, confirmed on Thursday that the tax returns had been received.

What we need from Trump is a media empire to compete with the MSM. TV, print, and social media. It won’t change what NBC or CNN or the Slimes reports, but it will give the masses a place to go to find the truth.

Right now we have next to nothing. Talk radio is the only being sent to us. Otherwise, you have to seek it out in the internet, and many people are too lazy or apathetic to do so. If Trump had his own cable TV station, who knows? Maybe some of the ignorant masses would watch and let the truth slowly sink in over time.

In order to convert the Republican Party away from the Rino party we must take away the power of Mitch McConnell, Liz Cheney and their ilk by controlling the money.

Always follow the money.

McConnell will always have a point-of-sale to the globalists and to Wall Street donors and that is how he has managed to dominate the selection of candidates who will support him even as he sells out the country.

Trump's new pack might at least provide a flow of money to candidates attractive to the base and thereby actually establish some sort of discipline within the party because the flow of money is at stake.

There can be no electoral victory that actually means conservative governance without party discipline. The Democrats have it, we do not. That is not to say that the Democrat party's discipline will not disintegrate as they begin to eat their own now that they have ultimate power.

Absolutely he can live there. The Town didn't want it turned into Condos....that's what they agreed to.

Do you think President Trump would buy something like that in Florida and not be able to live in it if he chose.

They tried to say he can’t live there under the terms. The stipulation is that only employees can live there. They tried to argue that Trump is not an employee. He obviously is.

There is no way to reform the GOPee. If Trumo couldn’t do it when he was president and the head of the party, he sure as hell won’t be able to do it from the outside looking in. Why is this so hard to get for people here on this blog, Trump’s influence only matters if he starts a new political party. If he does that Trump could be anotger George Washington. Otherwise, he’s just another Jimmy Carter.

I want to know who is speaking at CPAC tonight. I know my great Governor, Ron DeSantis, will be speaking today.

You make a very good point but one quite apart from mine.

Whether the Reformation comes from within or without, a major fulcrum, perhaps the decisive fulcrum, will be money its distribution and control because with it comes discipline. Without discipline you have rinos wandering off the reservation almost daily. Without discipline the other side governs.

Rinos will behave as they will whether they are in a reformed Republican Party or a new Liberty party. They react forces and money.

I'm not opposed to the attack being mounted from outside but we must acknowledge that it has not succeeded since 1858 and has failed with The Farmers Alliance, the Grange, The Socialists, Libertarians, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ross Perot to name a few. Acknowledging that, one must acknowledge that the conquest of the American political system by a new party is daunting.

I do not raise the issue that a new party will certainly lose the first few elections for the conservative side because efforts from within to reform the party are as likely to do the same. In my view, that price must be paid. It is pointless to continue winning the bulk of elections as we have done on virtually every level unless one wins at governing.

I do not necessarily advocate this but I do understand the logic that to put the fear of God in a few squishy Republicans might be easier than building a whole new infrastructure and launching a political party. We shall see.

A new political party would get the greater majority of the screwed over GOPee Trump voters, practicallyball of the Independent voters, and a plurality of the Marxocrat voters. It is very likely that such a party would become the majority political party in what was once the now-defunct USA virtually overnight. Trump could help coalesce these new party members into winning most of the congressional elections in 2022 an even affect the senatorial election outcomes. But the real benefit of having a new political party is that it sets the stage for state-by-state nullification, non-compliance, and secession from the tyrannical and illegitimate DC junta that has gripped the former USA. In the end, this country cannot exist in its current configuration. A new political party will not wasre time, effort, and resources trying to prop up an unworkable and already dead political entity.

Clearly there are advantages and disadvantages to either approach, whether to reform from within or to replace from without. Whatever path is chosen, we, especially Donald Trump, will have to contend with a media that has virtually canceled him and many of us. Unable to be heard, even Donald Trump will have immense difficulty in overthrowing the corrupt Republican party.

He might try to compensate by founding new social media platforms even as he is just announced that he is establishing a new PAC . This will have to be done quickly before talk radio and Fox as well as the upstart TV conservative platforms are shut down.

On the other hand ( there always seems to be another hand) we can expect to find a real ally in Joe Biden and his henchmen who will both overreach and who will, in my view, begin Soviet Union style to liquidate rivals for ultimate power although probably without the bloodshed.

We cannot count on it but it seems more more likely that the economy is heading for a crash which a runaway Fed in tandem with a runaway Congress cannot prevent or spend our way out of. The question is how long can the reckoning be postponed? If it falls during the current administration, all bets are off about the difficulty of taking over the Congress or starting a new party etc. That is a black Swan, like Covid 19, that would change everything.

Caution: the Democrats are past masters at exploiting a perfectly good crisis and they will bend every effort to do so this time. Worse, history tells us that invariably the remedy for failed socialism is not real reform, not saving capitalism but more socialism.

Great discussion you two. This, Freepers, is what we are fighting for; the first amendment is the first to go, then the second along with the fourth to be able to confiscate our protection. Until our message board can engage in civil discourse within regarding differences in opinion, we are no better than the other side trying to determine who is the most woke, and start eating our own. Fundamentals of our movement should be determined, but tactics and implementation differences should be debated without animus.

McConnell reported he received as a gift from his father in law who builds ships in China, between $5 and $25 million
So you know he received $25 million bribe from the communists. At least that amount.
