Song by British artists would be lengthy, too lengthy since my tastes includes plenty if rock’s super groups ad more.
Songs about Britain? Hmmm.
“London Calling” by the Clash
“God Save the Queen” by Sex Pistols
“Guns of Brixton” by the Clash
“Strawberry Fields Forever” by the Beatles
“Ghost Town” by The Specials
... many more

One of my kidlets went to school at University of Edinburgh.
Always stayed on the Royal Mile. Woke up to bagpipes. Loved it.

I was thinking of that song the other day. In my mind’s eye, replaying the closing of the show, I can still hear the announcer saying , “This CBS program was previously recorded for broadcast in this time zone.”

Good evening, BlueLancer, and thank you for the tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
Winchester Cathedral is such a catchy tune that takes me back a long ways.

This song should have been a big hit. Texans in 2021 can relate to its thought-provoking lyrics.
