Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. I want to hug Korea every time I eat kimchi.
When looking at Joe Biden’s various appointments and nominations here in the first month of the Grandpa Gropes Traveling Sham Presidency Circus, one can get the feeling that former President Barack Obama is running a staffing agency these days. Or a recycling center. Team Biden-Harris has been stocking up on Obama administration retreads. Perhaps Ol’ Joe doesn’t remember most of these people and his empty head thinks they’re all fresh blood.
While Merrick Garland wasn’t really a member of the Obama administration he is, of course, closely associated with it thanks to The Lightbringer’s lame duck nomination of him for the Supreme Court in 2016.
Garland’s performance during his confirmation hearing this week has clearly illustrated that the United States really dodged a bullet in keeping him off of the Supreme Court.
The world is so screwed up right now that this guy is going to be the chief law enforcement officer in the land but at least that’s not an appointment for life. At least not yet. The Democrats are all about fundamentally overhauling America and they’re clearly fans of one party rule so this administration may be around longer than we’d like.

“An attack on a courthouse while in operation — trying to prevent judges from actually deciding cases—that plainly is domestic uh uh um um uh uh extremism uh uh um um uh uh um domestic terrorism,” Garland explained before adding the following caveat: “An attack simply on government property at night, or under any other kind of circumstances, is a clear crime and a serious one, and should be punished.”
“I don’t mean—I don’t know enough of the facts of the example you were talking about,” Garland told Hawley. Apparently, Garland slept through the summer of 2020.
Would it make a difference? With the compromised Justice Roberts leading the looney toons traitors, what difference would another demented progressive make?
>“An attack simply on government property at night, or under any other kind of circumstances, is a clear crime and a serious one, and should be punished.”<<
Unless the attack is carried out by a group sanctioned and supported by the democrat part or soros. Then it is just a peaceful protest that got slightly out of hand.
Might have dodged a bullet with Garland but I think we got a couple sucking chest wounds from Kavanaugh and Barrett.
They’d have to put lead in his pants just to keep this intellectual lightweight from floating.
If Kavanaugh and Barrett changed their names to Garland, who could tell the difference?
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see another Waco with Garland as AG.
He’d fit right in — sadly.
IMO, nope. He's probably no further left than Roberts, Kavanaugh or Barret.
May as well put AOC on the SC. Or Bruce Springsteen. Or Hunter Biden. Makes 0 difference.
So what if he is not on the Court? Barrett and Kavanaugh are. The only difference is that B and K take their cues from the leftist Justices. Garland would be giving those cues, sort of a distinction without a difference
I predict Garland will be nominated to the SC when Breyer announces his retirement.
He would do far less damage on the SC than as AG. Kavanaugh and Barret are just as useless and stupid, and probably evil.
Wouldn’t make a difference. Even with the so called good appointees, this court leans left.
Too old, Lefties are a dime a dozen, they'll find one who is 40.
Garland’s replies during his interrogation were vacuous statements and baseless.
That’s where Garland is headed under Braindead Biden.
Like the federal government, the Supreme Court no longer has legitimacy.
Yet.
He's on Biden's short list.
How would it be any different if he were?
