They sat down and held conversations for the eight-episode podcast over the course of a few days in a converted farmhouse on Springsteen's property. The first topic they discussed was why they felt like outsiders as kids, and "not surprisingly, the conversation then shifted to what has been the central dilemma of America since it's founding: the issue of race," Mr. Obama says.
In episode 2, "American Skin: Race in the United States," which also dropped Monday, Spotify says they "reflect on their early experiences with race and racism and the uncomfortable conversations we need to have." In the 42-minute episode, the hosts talk about Springsteen's "integrated" E Street Band and the central importance of the late saxophonist Clarence Clemons.

Or is the message that Barry and Bruce possess powers beyond the grasp of young minorities and werewolves?
It’s a clusterf*** between two bosses who really sucked.
I disliked bruce long before he was political.
Why people like to listen to that serial mumbler is beyond me.
SO true :)
I don’t care what either one has to say about any topic, so I certainly will not listen to this podcast.
So when did they do this?
After the Super Bowl? Or was this planned before that?
Why is there such a push to defend Springsteen’s DUI?
Screamer and The Dope Show
Ugh. So the half white / half black kid who grew up in those bastions of the African American culture, Hawaii and Indonesia, and a white boy from the Jersey shore are going to elucidate us about race in American. That plop you just heard is this stone of a podcast sinking in the pond.
“ It’s a clusterf*** between two bosses who really sucked.”
That Barry is “married” to a tranny, and Bruce just got busted for DUI near some gay hook-up rest stop, I would think they both suck.
It is interesting to hear an illegal alien and a boozer to profess to be leaders.
Two duds. Ha! They are a perfect pair; they deserve each other. Losers.
Another reason for me to hate Springsteen...as if his “music” wasn’t bad enough..
The Gay and Drunk News Hour?
Right on, Grumpy!
LOL!!
His songs were so depressing. It is especially irksome when people play “Born in the USA” as a patriotic song. It’s really no more than a litany of complaints.
He’s got about 2 songs I like, and one of them is better when he didn’t sing on it. I suspect I’d like the other one better without him too.
