The two lawyers charged with torching an empty NYPD van during a Black Lives Matter protest in Brooklyn last summer were offered a plea deal by federal prosecutors earlier this month, according to new court documents.
The suspects, Urooj Rahman and Colinford Mattis, were offered the unspecified deal on Feb. 11, according to a court papers filed Saturday by Brooklyn federal prosecutors.

Better still, if you are a demented, lying, pedophile traitor - you can be fraudulently elected president.
Pull their law licenses for ten years...........................
I am going to bet it is forty hours of community service at worst.
They’re well on their way to moving up in the democrat party.
Of course they were. They will be part of the Biden administration within six months and earning a government paycheck. Just watch.
It’s good to be leftists.
Given the fact that taxpayers will open their wallets to buy a replacement, shouldn't all these deals be public?
One would think so. But didn’t you get the memo that some animals are more equal than others? And the pigs are the most equal of them all?
$100 fine. Just like the corrupt FBI lawyer who framed Carter Page.
Commit arson and fire bombing, you get a plea deal. Meanwhile NY continues to try and find something, anything, to put Trump away for life.
IMO, it better be a plea to a FELONY. Law license goes up in smoke at that point.
Since the6 did not hurt anyone, I think a felony conviction with a 10 year sentence with 5 years suspended seems like a reasonable plea along with permanent disbarment.
Exactly, torching a police car should be a felony.
Giving the Chinese, Iranian and Russian state police a run for their money… Apparently the Federal Bureau of Investigation, ie. the U.S. version of “State Police” enforcement units, have found a cause they are really committed to: finding every person who attended the Capitol Hill protests on January 6, 2021. [SEE HERE]
In a scene straight out of Orwell’s 1984 warning, the FBI is literally calling their effort the hunt for “America’s Most Wanted.” To achieve their goal, the FBI has been asking for help from their ideological comrades in the state run media apparatus, and achieving a great deal of success. [SEE HERE]
[Tweet Link] In a new twist to find actionable legal violations for which the activist DOJ can bring charges, the FBI is now seeking help to identify: “individuals who targeted members of the media for assault, threats, destruction of property, and other unlawful conduct.” Yes, the Biden DOJ is using “Assault on Media” as a criminal charge.
It is not accidental this same FBI turned a blind eye to terrorist warnings around attacks in San Bernardino, Boston Marathon, Parkland High School, Garland Texas, Fort Hood, Pulse Nightclub, Mandalay Bay Vegas, etc. etc… the list is long. However, some random folks petitioning congress to air grievances is considered domestic terrorism worthy of thousands of FBI agents and innumerable man hours just to hunt down dissenters. [Look at the Arrest List]
Suddenly the wall, barbed wire and thousands of military troops surrounding the Capitol and DC takes on a new level of ideological understanding.
We are in a full police state.
Time served, case dismissed.
Must be nice to be an amoral democrat.
Put them inside a police car and light it on fire.
That should be the punishment.
Hardly anyone goes to trial these days. Let’s see what the offer is. If they keep their licenses, I will be stunned.
Of course. After all wasn’t it a peaceful fire bombing?
This is a legit site asking for information.
What I will do is find media evidence of protestors at the Kavanaugh hearings who were let in by Dem congress members and suggest they be investigated, as well as those who interrupted the Supreme Court.
I would suggest you all use these examples or find your own and submit them.
