San Francisco has made a stunning about-face, walking back a controversial decision to scrub 44 “racist” names from its schools — including George Washington and Abraham Lincoln — after the move drew nationwide ire and was criticized for being based on flawed information without insight from historians.
“I acknowledge and take responsibility that mistakes were made in the renaming process,” the president of San Francisco’s School Board Gabriela López wrote on Twitter Sunday.
“Reopening will be our only focus until our children and young people are back in schools. We’re cancelling renaming committee meetings for the time being.

Even though common sense, patriotism and conservatism are bashed in the corrupt media and actively suppressed in national politics, they still can be a large and potent force under the surface.
Maybe there is a limit to the lunacy of the left?
In other words, they will wait until they can do it without attracting a lot of attention.

Maybe they noted what happened recently to the Oakley school board — a little further north. They mocked parents during a video meeting — without knowing that the mic was on and the parents were hearing and recording all the nasty comments.
All four board members had to resign.
Perhaps someone on the Frisco board said something like “the natives, they be restless”.
Think of the children! Do you want to torment them by making them sit in a school named after the likes of Abraham Lincoln?
Probably can't find anyone who isn't "racist" in one form or another.
- Never lived next door to a black family? Racist.
- Never ate Chinese food? Racist.

You’ve got DeBlasio cancelling the ban on the Trump skating rinks, that school board resigning over mocking their local parents, and now this backtrack on naming schools - I’m thinking the donkeys are getting polling / focus group data that’s telling them more of the public are starting to see the Democrat party as a bunch of raving loons.
The Democrats can only thrive in deception, dishonesty and cheating - if they start getting too far out in front of their skis, they’ve got to dial it back or they end up blowing the whole phony image they try to present.
Parents who truly hate their kids send them to San Francisco Public Schools.

Pelosi. This is the last thing the Rats need to focus on right now. Imagine if Biden was asked the question if he supports this? After drooling a bit he would say he was going to meet with his czars and circle back.
His job? He should be worried about going to prison or forcing nursing homes to accept known-infected COVID-19 patients. After Cuomo gets fired and prosecuted, I expect Newsom to be next. There's a few other governors who also need trials for the same thing.
Let these killers rot in prison for their criminal actions.
