Pop star Madonna took to Twitter Friday to rail against “the Patriarchy,” claiming that this entity “continues to try to crush my neck” and “cut off my life force and take away my voice.”
“The Patriarchy continues to try to crush my neck with their heavy boots, cut off my life force and take away my voice — Even those who call themselves artists…………..” she wrote.
While Madonna — who has a net worth of roughly $850 million — did not go on to clarify what she meant by “the Patriarchy” cutting off her “life force” and taking away her voice, she did say that these individuals who know they are, adding: “DEATH TO THE PATRIARCHY.”

Patriarchy - A system in which power is invested in the male (father, or pater originally) and passed down through the family from one generation to the next.
Patriarchy according to the feminist expands this to the extreme that society as a whole is against women, and because you are male, you are automatically a racist, sexist women hater who just uses weak women and discards them as one would a paper towel.
Basically the same feminist line we’ve heard since the 60’s. Men are selfish, controlling brutes and women should rule the universe.
And madonna is just a twit to begin with so there’s that...

Correct. This is her way of staying in the limelight. She made it in the 80s by shocking people. Now she hasn’t got the talent to stick around, so the noise. If we make any fuss outside FR we give her exactly what she wants. well, actually even here you and me commenting is giving her the publicity she wants

Please disregard my first reply- wrong thread. Yes, Bay City at one time, but mostly raised in Rochester Hills. I have a friend who met her before she was anybody special. She was a high maintenance pain-in-the ass even then.

I'm not sure how the patriarchy has held her back when she figuratively sold her body for $850M over the course of decades. Some say she is musically talented, and while that is debatable, she is (or was) unquestionably a savvy marketer.
