While I agree that masks don’t work your ongoing insistence that Covid does not cause the death in a patient with comorbidities is as uneducated as it comes and is trumpeting a lie that has no basis in reality.

you completely misunderstood what I wrote and, from your other comment, I take it you are trolling for responses. Please go away.

I did a lot or research on this a year ago (man - it has been a long time!)

For the regular flu (similar size virus and transport means) lots of studies have been done. A properly fitted N-95 mask can prevent stuff 0.3 microns from coming in.

Research shows that about 50% of the time a virus is traveling on a particle that is larger than 0.3 microns, so the mask cuts the possible exposure in half.

And a decrease in dose reduces the risk to the body. Your body can fight off a small does of a virus compared to a larger dose.

The other less known thing was how long is the virus viable on a smaller particle? The moisture droplets are the big ones, and the moisture protects the envelope around the virus.

Smaller dust particles are dry, and do not protect the envelope and it can dry out and the virus is destroyed. Although those studies are less conclusive. Some think the virus is still viable, others not.

Even with moist droplets, hanging up clothing to air dry at room temperature destroys the flu virus as it dries out.

All of that said - I think it should be up to the person on whether they want to wear a mask or not. It isn’t the MASK that is controlling the people - it is the government and the “experts”.

(Yes - I was wearing a mask way back when Faucci said masks didn’t work.)

Surgical masks work much better if you add a portable ion generator nearby.

Proof of ultra fine particle reduction: https://weinproducts.com/news/entry/unipolar-ion-emission-enhances-respiratory-protection-against-fine-and-ultrafine-particles

I have on occasion. But these stores are within walking distance to my house. Meaning, I’m a regular patron. All it would take is for one nervous Nelly or a Karen, to complain bitterly to mgmt. and I might find myself canceled in this cancel culture we find ourselves in.

Sure there’s plenty of stores in the city, I could drive wherever I needed to start the process over again. And if it was just me, I’d be fine with that. But I’m usually dragged along when the LCW needs a pack mule. I’d never hear the end of it if I had to beg off because I was banned.

And as most guys know: When momma ain’t happy - ain’t nobody happy.

No, just pragmatic at certain times. The only time is at the grocery. I don’t wear a mask anywhere else. People wearing a mask in their car with the windows up, cracks me up.

Your right. If a employee cleans up the masks and happens to get covid there will be a lawsuit for sure.

Cool! Well, this time of year, I’m usually blowing, or in the case of those stubborn ones that just won’t dislodge, digging out my nasal cavity on a daily basis. I should buy stock in Kleenex.

unless clogged, or I’m breathing hard, I’ve always breathed through my nose. I’m not going to walk around with my mouth open. I was told it’s a good way to catch flies.

Good advice-common saying in Mexican Spanish-un boca cerrado no tiene moscas-means don’t rat/nark on people-a closed mouth has no flies...

What's a "medical grade mask"?

I’ve noticed over the last week or so the Karens are now going with the 2 mask technique. Has this been promoted by the “view” or Orca or Big Mike? They sure are good little zombies aren’t they?

Already happening I am sure. This is just another thing added to the environment that the dems say they are trying to protect. They don’t care as long as they are in control. This will be part of the green deal in the future. Trump brought on this virus and we had to use masks that damaged the world. Now we need 10 trillion dollars to clean it up. Just make the check out to the dems.

I know exactly what you wrote
You contend that Covid itself doesn’t kill but the comorbidities do and hence these should not be listed as Covid deaths further promoting the conspiracy that 9200 is the actual number.

There is not a shred is standard medicine or clinical knowledge in your statement. The fact that comorbidities are present does not mean that that the presence of Corona virus was not the cause of death.

But for the fact that these patients has corona virus they would not have died.

No, there is no mask that will do as you claim. A full hazmat suit with oxygen would though. Let’s all get those.

No. I know what I am talking about. As is deal with this for a living.

You state that SpO2 oxygen intake. There is no such thing. The oxygen intake for the human body on room air is 21%. The SPo2 is the oxygen saturation as measured by fast Fourier transformation comparing 480 nm to 440 nm absorbed light at the level of the capillary usually a finger tip or ear lob. This translates to the oxygenation saturation. Masks do not change the inspires level of oxygenation in the air. Air is made of 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen with the remaining 1% carbon dioxide and other gases

You state unequivocally that there is a change in inspired oxygen concentration by using terms you are unfamiliar with and trying to convince people you have some expertise. It is glaringly obvious you don’t know the first thing about respiratory physiology

Your premise may be that wearing a mask reduces oxygen saturation in the blood stream 6% or so. That would be in generally unhealthy lungs with simple surgical masks. Even a six percent reduction in a healthy lung where the average saturation is 97-100 would not cause any significant issues as the steep part of the oxygen desaturation curve starts around 85% where small changes in alveolar oxygen produce large changes in arterial oxygen.

You can look this up in basic physiology books or basic respiratory units. I am not at odds with most medical professionals Becuase I am a medical expert in reapirstoeu physiology and practice it everyday

Next time get your facts straight before having your head handed to you from an knowledge stand point.

Nobody wants to be a mouth breather heh.

You know how all this goes away? We say enough.

Sadly, there’s those here on FR that are real believers and will love the vaccine. Meanwhile this is simply a way to usher in the new world order and impose control.

“I only wear a mask at the grocery. I walk in without it on and s l o w l y put it on as I walk down an aisle. And even then, it’s only half on since my nose is uncovered; I usually breathe through my nose, so it’s of no benefit even if it was beneficial .”

i do EXACTLY the same thing ... and no mask wearing at all except in an indoors public situation so i don’t get kicked out ...

Do you seriously think that any supermarket will cause grief to a “regular patron”. I own a business and I sure as hell wouldn’t aggravate a “regular patron” because some Karen bitched.

BTW, it’s time to change that “if momma ain’t happy” paradigm.
