Not to mention a environmental problem. I see them laying all over the ground. Almost every parking lot I pull into there are masks laying on the ground.
Not only that but being hard of hearing it is so difficult to understand people. I can not watch any tv show where they have masks on because I can’t understand what is being said. Additionally how does this affect kids speaking patterns. People learn to speak by watching the face and they mimic the motion of the lips and face to learn to talk. Kids are going to have all sorts of speech problems from this.
Like vaccines and the Covid virus itself, this is becoming way too politicized.
If you are high risk, wear a medical grade mask. If you are visiting someone high risk, consider it.
As far as what private businesses decide that’s their business.
People need to stop being afraid and start living. That’ll make it go away. Well, go away to extent. It’ll force the enemy’s hand and then at least everyone will know where they stand.

Personal clear face shields would make EVER so much sense in most situations. Free air circulation, protects eyes as much as mouth and nose, facial recognition, and don’t bind on your ears.
When i went into the tax place, the receptionist was unintelligible to me because of her mask. I told her i was hard of hearing but if she wanted me to understand her pull down the mask. She did and we were able o do business.

I only wear a mask at the grocery. I walk in without it on and s l o w l y put it on as I walk down an aisle. And even then, it’s only half on since my nose is uncovered; I usually breathe through my nose, so it’s of no benefit even if it was beneficial .
I consider a mash a muzzle. And as long as the sheep think I’m muzzled, I’ve had no problems. The muzzle comes off after checkout before exiting the store.

Thing that gets me is that no doctor or scientist has ever said that they do work.
If you can smell odors, and breathe without an air tank... you’re getting a virus.
Social distancing had been effective though. Just don’t go near anyone. God, I love that aspect.
Looking through my history I’ve worn then as a respect to others. That’s the only benefit. It communicates a message.
