John Kerry, President Joe Biden’s administration’s climate envoy, sounded the alarm on an upcoming climate crisis.
Kerry told CBS “This Morning” reporter Ben Tracy in an interview which aired Friday, that the winter weather seen across the country could be the “new normal” and needs to be prevented by cutting global carbon emissions.

A group of “experts” who called themselves The Club of Rome predicted in the 1970’s that oil would completely run out by 1990. At the time there were proven reserves of 550 billion barrels.
Today there are over 1.7 TRILLION barrels of oil in the world.

You are correct, but the modern version was the “global warming” scare that was morphed into climate change when the average person realized it was not getting warmer.
This was preceded by the “Coming Ice Age” if mankind does not do something.
Their big victory (and biggest lie) was declaring CO2 as a pollutant. This single and inexplicable court decision by SCOTUS opened the door for them to regulate everything. They can basically regulate all commerce now in the name of saving us from ourselves.
The war on carbon opens the door for them to control just about everything. They are going after “fresh water” also.

So what happened in 2016, ten years from 2006? Donald Trump was elected president. Indeed, a catastrophe was avoided in that Hillary Clinton was NOT elected.

It's worth noting that we did an experiment last year, we shut down most of the economy, slashed our CO2 production to lows not seen in many, many decades.

Why did you wait so long lurch?
You would think that when the polar ice melted several years ago, when all the glaciers melted or when most of Florida and all the coastal cities went under water in 2005 that the people would start to take global warming more seriously. What more proof do they need! I guess all the rich global warming supporters buying beach front property so the common folks don’t get cheated when the properties get buried under the rising sea level isn’t enough proof for some either. Some people will just never learn.
