Fox News host and longtime conservative radio personality Mark Levin eulogized Rush Limbaugh Wednesday as someone who made it "cool to be a patriot" and spoke for tens of millions of Americans from behind his famed golden microphone.
"We lost a tremendous patriot," Levin told Fox News host Harris Faulkner. "I've known Rush for 25 years. I want your audience to know how much he profoundly loved them ... An incredibly wise man, a very, very smart man. A dear person. If you thought somebody needed help, he would help them. Nothing like what the liberal media has tried to do to him."
Limbaugh died Wednesday after a year-long battle with lung cancer. The conservative icon and author revolutionized the radio industry with the nationally syndicatead "The Rush Limbaugh Show" beginning in 1988, and he is widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in broadcast and political history.

“Rush Limbaugh, your guiding light through times of trouble, confusion, murkiness, tumult, Millennials still living at home, not wanting to get married, not able to find work, all of that plus even good times, I am your guiding light.”
I wonder if he realized how true that “cheeky” statement was.
Even in some of the most discouraging times he was able to pick me up.
Rush’s goodheartedness was obvious to anyone who listened to him for any length of time.
My heart and the hearts of all Patriots are broken. God Speed, Rush.
He will be remembered by many. He made a big influence upon me back in the 1980’s.
His family ae respectable people. May God Bless them all.
Holy Smokes! I didn’t know Rush had passed. Rest In Peace El Rushbo.
Mark Levin could be a better host if he stopped yelling.
He makes himself sound unhinged.
I will give Fox credit since I've switched several times to cnn and msnbc and not a word, not even a scroll at the bottom.
Kudos to FOX.
He’s definitely emotional! ..............
Remember Dan's Bake Sale?
Remember Rush's Tv show and people sending in funny video's they had made and Rush showed them - all that predated Twitter and You Tube.
Remember Rush's song parodies?
I still have the key chain with the attached mini-mink mitten.
Rush carried the mantle of Ronald Reagan and prepared us to be able to recognize Donald Trump.
Thank you, Rush!
He is passionate. It is hard to listen to him sometimes, I agree because it gets your blood boiling in what we are up against. But it is hard to listen to the Truth sometimes.
Man! I had forgotten all about that!
Remember during the TV show Rush would suggest putting placards on the bottom of your TV screen during a Clinton speech reminding you that Clinton is lying? ROTFLMChristianFreeAmericanHairyWhiteUnsodomizedAO!!
And hundreds of millions of people know about the existence of a small town named Rio Linda, CA because of Rush. LOL
I guess God needed all that talent back.
I don’t know who could possibly be that informative while being that bombastic at the same time.
I started listening to him around 1991 when I was in High School. I found out about him through a segment that 60 Minutes did on him. After that show, I found which local station carried his show, and listened to him undergrad, and through grad school. His show was more than information, it was often a three hour block of good humour that made the day better.
When I first started listening to him, when the local radio station pulled Paul Harvey off the air and replaced him with Rush, I was pissed!...............
” I’ve been watching FNC give tribute to Rush, “
Me, too — first time since the election. Coverage has been great.
And last years clothing sales where he gave all the proceeds to the Tunnel to Towers charity.......in excess of $5 million......
And remember decades ago when he auctioned off some stupid letter signed by Democrat senators that sold for $2 million that he donated to another charity......
You can bet money that Hannity will pay tribute tonight at 9pm. Also, Levin will most likely do the same this weekend. Honestly, The FIVE should dedicate their show as well, but they are a bit flaky sometimes. Like Jesse Waters yesterday worried that Trump was knocking Mitch.
Remember the Rush ties? I still have mine and looks brand new.
I had a sign at one of my businesses that said “This entire premises is a Rush Room”.
It was a great environment!
