I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
We lost a treasure. I’m so glad he got to experience that medal of freedom moment last year at the state of the union.
Rest in peace Rush Hudson Limbaugh.
Great Trump had the foresight to do this for him, and have it live during the SOTU.
A true patriot gone but never forgotten
Crying
I might as well pitch the radios. First baseball, now Rush gone. God, I will miss him.
“Only Fox News carrying the headline. Can’t even find it on CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC, etc...“
They’re still dancing and drinking champagne... soon, you’ll see their smiling faces gleefully announcing it.
Just got the news from Mark Steyn on FB. RIP Rush
He was one of a kind. Even in death he was better than the rest!
My dearest COCHLEAR IMPLANT friend..
Thank you for all you did for America, Americans and Conservatives...
You will be remember for all eternity..
Rest in Peace, dear Pal...
I thank you daily for leading me to COCHLEAR..
together we both HEAR ALWAYS..HEAR FOREVER..
HE SHARED HIS WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, WITH EVERYONE..
MY HEART IS WEEPING TODAY AND IT IS MY 78TH BIRTHDAY...
GOOD BYE DEAR PAL...I’ll remember this day forever.
I LOVED YOU, YOU WERE SPECIAL..<3
For the righteous man is taken away from calamity; he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.
I actually had the good fortune to meet Mr. Limbaugh briefly some years ago -- an odd crossing of paths when he was still doing his show regularly in New York City.
This man was one of the truly iconic figures in the radio business and on the U.S. political scene over the last 35 years.
I’m so sorry. Prayers for his family and loved ones.
Just DAMN.
Mega-ditto’s and RIP el Rushbo...
Thank you for being on the front lines for all of us.
I listened to the first “local Show” on WABC July 1, 1988, and I listened to the last one here a few days ago. 32 years being entertained and informed by a “great friend..” America has lost it’s number one cheerleader and patriot...
He always made so much sense with humor and intellect.
The most incredible thing for me was “meeting” all of you truth-seeking, free-thinking, compassionate ditto-heads. Love you all. We’re still here and will do what we can to perpetuate his/our passion for the greatness of America.
Thank you Rush.
Sad, sad news. One of a kind. The most positive voice for Conservatism ever.
Trump has a massive American flag on the front lawn of Mar a Lago. I’ll bet it will be at half mast today.
Like losing a family member. Heartbreaking.
So very sad. God bless you Rush.
I've been a fan since he first came to New York. His keynote speech at the 2009 CPAC revived my courage. I owe Rush such a debt of gratitude for that alone. RIP.
I'm in such shock, even though we all knew this was coming. It was a miracle he lasted this long.
Prince Phillip taken to hospital. He may go as well today.
RIP Rush. Lung cancer is a horrible disease.
