I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
A light in the darkness has gone out.
I just finished bawling, will probably bawl again soon.
Lord, please let another patriot rise in Rush’s place. Please.
I listened to his last broadcast, not knowing it was going to be his last ...
He ended the show as if he was going to be back the next day ...
He did not make it about him ... I will miss him.
A great voice for American freedom has been silenced. He cannot be replaced. I wonder if President Trump will issue a statement?
A great loss to our country. Irreplaceable. Major shoes to fill. Hope we have many inspired to step up and fill those shoes in their own way.
What stands out most to me about Rush over the last year is the fact that he accepted the reality of his condition and that his time was very limited without ever letting it compromise the quality of his effort each day, or his outward disposition.
He still continued to give us great broadcasting without EVER expressing any self-pity or bitterness about his condition. From losing his hearing to ultimately losing his battle with cancer, he continued to express a sentiment of gratitude and appreciation for life and the blessings in it. A lesson we can all take away from Rush.
God Bless You El Rushbo. May you rest in peace eternally.
Thank You for everything.
Rush has repaid the loan from God! There is a void in the world.
Devestated beyond words.
Let them show what miserable people they are.
Saddest of news.....
RIP! Great Man!
A radio icon is gone. I’m so sad he was taken from us.

I’m not anticipating a statement from the WH.
God bless Rush and his family. I really thank him for everything he has done for our movement.
How far has things changed in such a short time? Remember that ESPN actually hired Rush? Yes, they booted him shortly after but can you imagine ESPN doing anything of the sort today?
I am very sad, but it is not unexpected. I remember when Teddy Kennedy died he would not let anyone dance on his grave. That is not what we do at the EIB network, he said. Well, now we get to see how the other side comports themselves.
Profoundly sad news.
I’m glad I got to listen to his last broadcast.
He died doing what he loved and went out strong.
Only Fox News carrying the headline. Can’t even find it on CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC, etc...
I’m not sure what the plan is for EIB, but I’d like to think a plan is in place to ensure it continues.
