Executioners who put 13 inmates to death in the last months of the Trump administration likened the process of dying by lethal injection to falling asleep and called gurneys “beds” and final breaths “snores.” But those tranquil accounts are at odds with reports by The Associated Press and other media witnesses of how prisoners’ stomachs rolled, shook and shuddered as the pentobarbital took effect inside the U.S. penitentiary death chamber in Terre Haute, Indiana. The AP witnessed every execution.

Compared to what they did to their victims that earned them a place on death row, I have no sympathy.
In other news, the accounts of propagandists were at odds with official reports of the executioner’s, who were also there for all events.

Could be from what they ate.
Most of em eat pretty rich food at the end.
Executions were never meant to be pleasant.
Reports of the executed’s actions were sanitized also.
Reports don’t mention faces being shot off, breasts cut off,
womb linings being breached by a foreign object, and other
actions.
Cry me a river. The victim’s families saw justice for once.

But who believes the news media anyway? They are always pro-criminal for some strange reason. This is a “narrative,” not a report of facts. The media don’t care about facts.
Maybe don’t be a murderer and avoid being put down by the state.
I’ve always been curious how the vet can quietly euthanize animals but it’s a big drama for people.
I have been saying for years. Use the EXACT same methods we use to put down stray pets. If it is humane enough for innocent stay animals, its humane enough for murderous humans!

Are the physiologic effects unknown? Death by lethal injection is just death from an overdose of barbituates. The subject effectively goes into a coma and then the drug inhibits respiration to the point of death by suffocation. The subject feels nothing.
Yes, an execution can be an ugly thing. But so is putting someone in a 6x8 jail cell for 30 years.
I’m not saying that one punishment is better than the other. And I’m not saying that either one is unnecessarily cruel (they aren’t). But I am saying that liberals are just fooling themselves when they cry about capital punishment.
There are no kind and gentle punishments for someone who has committed a capital crime.
What’s the problem. They were criminals. They are dead. Case closed.
