British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that world powers should clinch a global treaty on pandemics to ensure proper transparency after the novel coronavirus outbreak which originated in China.

Asked by Reuters who he held responsible for any lack of transparency on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson said: “I think its fairly obvious that most of the evidence seems to point to the disease having originated in Wuhan.”

“Therefore we all need to see as much as we possibly can about how that might have happened, the zoonotic questions that people are asking. I think we need as much data as possible,” he said.

Johnson is a progressive.

Only progressives are stupid enough to believe that lying communist dictators will abide by the terms of treaties.

What a moron !

Treaties are means by which politicians claim they are doing something while having no measurable impact on the future behavior of the treaty parties.

Sorry Boris, but China won’t adhere to a treaty and it’s foolish to think they would.

A Treaty would serve the purpose of making these COVID restrictions a permanent part of the international stage, by law. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to live that way forever. No thanks.

Shame about the Brits but you are right. Trump offered May and then Boris a US/Britain trade deal that would have been a major sweetheart deal for the brits and they both turned him down because Orange Man Bad.

Now they get to live in their basements eating their shoe leather while Boris dines in style on filet with his uber-woke girlfriend whispering sweet communist nothings in his ear.
