The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is set to hear a number of high-profile election fraud cases.
The SCOTUS is now scheduled to consider the voter fraud cases for Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia on February 19, 2021.Justices will hear the cases that allege widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
Among those to be heard are Republican Rep. Mike Kelly’s Pennsylvania election case, pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell’s Michigan election case, and attorney Lin Wood’s Georgia election case.
99% of the cases the Court takes are on Petition for Certiorari. That is a discretionary petition the Court can grant or deny for any or no reason. There are many reasons that go into the decision. Mootness, which is there any issue left to decide here or have events superseded the case is probably an issue here. Another is whether the case presents a "clean" record, that is can we decide the issue presented without deciding related issues where the record is not clear.
The practicality is the Court only takes about 100 cases a year for full consideration.
Understanding all this, what has been scheduled is the Court will consider the Pennsylvania cases at the February 19 "conference." Conferences are the closed proceedings where the 9 Justices alone, with no staff present, discuss whether to grant certiorari. That is all that is happening on Friday. No oral argument by Lin Wood. There is no case proceeding to decision. The Justices will decide whether to take the case in the first place. If they grant certiorari, then the parties will file briefs and argument will be scheduled, probably for late Spring.
Additionally, the press will report the decision as a "win" for Wood if the case is taken and a "loss" for Trump if the case is not taken. Both would be wrong. They are simply deciding is this one of the 100 cases we're going to decide this year or are we going to let the lower court decision stand. That's all.
yep!
Amy = Lucy with the football.
The scotus did not want to be the deciding factor on the fraudulent election, they allowed it to happen and now they feel safe in doing this, thanks damage done
“I hope this isn’t a show trial...”
It most certainly will be. The USSC has already shown that it is as thoroughly corrupt as every other part of our illegitimate tyrannical junta that controls the now-defunct former USA. I no longer believe any statement, claim, act, or process of our new tyrannical masters is ever done in good faith. Everything the government says or does has a sinister purpose and everyone involved in government is a criminal, just like in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. No person with any integrity would be a part of the government anymore.
This was before Twitter banned him.
Anyone with confidence in Roberts court is a fool.

No, not moot. Aren’t you tired of seeing Trump supporters lose jobs and careers for saying the election was stolen? I am.
Your sarcasm detector needs new batteries.
“The real question for SCOTUS is can judges and Secretaries of state or Governors change state law on elections?”
Why wouldn’t this be something for a State court to decide?
Things are always problematic where law and politics overlap, particularly when those charged with enforcing the law lack the political will to do so.
In English and American common law a Quo Warranto action, would be the proper venue for challenging the wrongful usurper of an election, but again, a politicized judiciary, corrupt media and uninformed populace make the law more and more irrelevant with each passing week.
Sidney’s maybe.. Lin not so much unless he’s on meds to keep him sane.
This. If it opens eyes and gets folks to question the legitimacy of the biden regime...
We have been hearing and saying on this site that America is over, She has gone the way of all flesh and has succumbed to the baser angels of our nature. It may well be so, but the case for the steal has never been put forth in our courts. Dismissal after dismissal has been the rule of the demagogues and the bane of the patriot. If the case truly moves forward, it could well be that this is America’s final chance to come out from under the rot that has infected her political soul. It could be that we may be on the cusp of God’s final attempt to pour forth His grace on our land, to restore the righteous, to expose the wicked, to return us to the path that America humbly set out upon 244 years ago. God desires a witness for Himself to speak to the lost, to call all men unto Himself. America served this purpose (to a greater and a lesser degree) throughout Her history. Perhaps, God is willing to continue this. We know that in the last days perilous times will come (I do not deceive myself here), but the day or the hour of that final turning away is not within my knowledge—or yours, so we are commanded to pray, without ceasing...
It is time (and has always been time) for God’s people to pray. Lies and deception must be exposed; truth must reign in our land if we are to continue. The prayer here is that “the steal” will be made manifest for all to see: to affirm those who have stood by the charge, to persuade those who will be persuaded and to stop the mouths of the liars and deceivers.
It is a prayer for a ministration of the grace of God to open eyes and to silence the wicked.
We won’t find out because “it ain’t gunna happen”.
Actually the Supremes are scheduled to conference on these cases on Feb 19th. That’s when they will decide whether to hear them. I am not optimistic.
Yes.....
The capitol will be stormed and the National Guard will politely observe the proceedings
I’m not so sure about that. If the watched the unconstitutional impeachment hearings during which the House Managers used falsified and doctored evidence they might surmise that they are nefarious enough to steal an election.
That’s a big leap you are making there in this global cabal controlled world. Words to live by: believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see.
