Every time I hear the phase “Peaceful transfer if power” , I am reminded of Obama sitting at the Trump’s inauguration, looking smug, but knowing he was already spying on Trump before and after the election.
It takes a special kind of jackass to call for an investigation AFTER he already voted to convict the person who was accused as the ringleader of the alleged crime.

Although Americans aren’t generally aware of it, international analyses have concluded that America is the one of the least democratic countries in the “democratic” category of nations. It is only just about possible to call it democratic at all. According to the Electoral Integrity Project’s analysis, the US came near the bottom of this second highest group for honest elections, tying with Mexico.
This because a number of factors frowned on by international observers that open it up to electoral fraud. These include: no voter ID, mail-in ballots, duplicate registration, election observers being prevented from observing, unreliable voting machines, the media calling results while some areas are still voting and so literally influencing the election, and voter fraud not being prosecuted often enough.
But of course voter fraud can’t be prosecuted. To admit that it happens would be to admit that a component of the American Civil Religion is nonsense [Electoral Integrity Worldwide by Pippa Norris and Max Gromping, May 2019].
This is why Trump was on trial. He has committed heresy against the Civil Religion. Worse than that, this heresy has resulted in firing up a mob of working-class people in a country where another myth is that there is no class system and that everybody can attain the American Dream if they’d just work hard enough.
Trump was on trial for confronting the indoctrinated with the empirical truth, that American democracy is a sham, and thus causing America’s nobility to lose control of its serfs—and even, if only briefly, be in fear of them.
Yes. Let’s have it. Let’s publicly release the call that implicates Mitch calling for a “mess” in the capitol. Let’s call Trump supporters who were led freely into the capitol by police. Let’s show tape of trump supporters asking tor help from the police only to be ignored. Let’s put the Antifa leader under oath and ask him who put him up to it.
It wasn’t even a riot, I saw riots all summer on TV, I know what they look like, burning and looting did not occur.

yep!!!....It’ll NEVER happen simply because of this fact...Pelosi refused troop reinforcement and Bowser also refused.....they were happy to see the chaos because they had their “blame it on Trump” script at the ready.....has ANYONE asked Cassidy to investigate why the Democrats even BROUGHT an impeachment charge without going their due diligence in the FIRST PLACE?????

Have to say I didn’t aggravate myself by watching any of the proceedings in the Senate but did the defense bring up that the crowd had already descended on the Capitol BEFORE the president’s rally was over and anyone at the rally had to walk to the Capitol which would have taken an hour with the gangs already over the barricades and well on their way intruding into the building? I can’t remember WHO made that point earlier in the week but it had to be Tucker or Hannity...Made a lot of sense to me.

Until one of these schmucks (not the word I wanted to type) genuinely suffers some consequence from his actions (also not what I wanted to type) nothing will change. It seems to work, so they will take it farther. They’ve cemented election fraud. From now on they will be telling us what to do using police power to enforce their whims. Time to wake up.
