Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said Thursday night that NBC10 has apologized for including a graphic in a news segment that altered the wording on the Philadelphia Police Department’s motto to “coffee, corruption, donuts.”
The actual words are “honor, integrity, service” and it appears in the department’s “shield,” which has the shape of a badge and can be found on uniforms and department vehicles.
In a statement on Twitter, Outlaw said: “Earlier tonight on an @NBCPhiladelphia news broadcast, an inappropriate and insulting graphic of the PPD Shield was shown during a story related to COVID-19 deaths of city employees – including 5 of our officers.

Not about Phil., but someone here said recently the police officers had better stop strongarming patriots because we are the only ones on their side in this country.
Before the midterm elections they let a white haired man get tear gassed and beaten to the ground by Antifa in Portland at a Trump rally and when others were hit with metal and clubbed to the ground people ran down the street to the police, where the cops were standing , leaning against a building with their arms folded. Excuse, woman mayor wanted them to minimalize clashes if two sides could be kept apart.

Our area is the worst in America if you go Philly, Camden, Chester, Wilmington, and Baltimore.

I’ve always said, a community deserves the police force it has.
Is your city a rotten, corrupt, graft filled city? Is it run by liberals who hate the police? Then yeah, you’re going to have some serious law-enforcement problems. Too bad.
Easy to beat on the cops, and they often need a ‘beating’ *BUT* if there is one given I learned last year, the only thing worse than a cop around is NO COP around.
I do try to not be one of their customers...

Apparently that is not what the Sheriff’s dept. ordered so it’s a lot like the Philly TV station incident.
maybe the FCC should accidentally give them a million dollar fine and see if that helps with their work place accidents, and have OSHA give them a visit along wi the health inspectors office...

It’s actually pretty funny. Don’t lose your sense of humor and turn into liberals.
Hope the NBCers don’t need any police services or protection anytime in the near future. Philly cops have long memories.
Frankly, I think NBC is right about the Philly cops.
