Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued stunning remarks breaking with former President Trump, telling Politico in an interview published Friday that she believes he “let us down.”
“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” Haley, who served in her ambassador role under Trump, said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
“Here’s another guttersnipe who just ended her political career.”
That was a calculated choice. I have to wonder if she knows something about the direction of Trump’s trail that we do not know yet. There must be something a mist.
Yeah. Four years of no wars, numerous peace treaties, getting NATO countries to pay their fair share, holding Iran, Hezbollah, ISIS and other terrorists organizations and states in check. In hindsight, you shouldn’t have played along, eh, Nikki?
Why doesn’t that surprise me. Opportunist, backstabbing, ambitious woman.
The GOP is not morphing into the MAGA party like all of you pollyannas said it would. I am of the mindset to kamikaze my vote and go Democrat in 2020 for revenge. If we can clean house on the federal level maybe the GOP will get the message.
And so ends her Presidential aspirations.

Trump was totally loyal and worked tirelessly for the Republican Party with great success. Unfortunately that loyalty was not returned. Republicans are sorely misguided if they think that they can get by distancing themselves from Trump and his supporters.

I think her hope was to be there when Graham retires in two to three years and fill out the rest of his term.
At this point, I’d say she’s finished in politics and can settle upon some CNN slot.
