Nebraska County GOP Party Votes to Censure Ben Sasse
Breitbart ^ | Feb 9 2001 | Joshua Caplan

Nebraska’s Lincoln County Republican Party on Sunday voted to censure Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), one of the U.S. Senate’s most vocal critics of former President Donald Trump, the North Platte Telegraph first reported.

Lincoln County Republican Party’s 32 members voted unanimously for the measure, said chairwoman Carol Friesen. In the resolution, Sasse is accused of “dismissing the legitimate concerns” regarding allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. The resolution also takes aim at Sasse for his conduct toward Trump, saying he failed to “respect the high office of the President of the United States.”

Additionally, Sasse is criticized for “statements inciting radical proposals and retributions against law-abiding elected senators,” such as referring to Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) — both upper chamber Republicans who challenged Congress’s certification of the electoral college in favor of President Joe Biden.

Nebraska’s Republican State Central Committee will meet Saturday to consider a similar resolution against Sasse.

“Similar resolutions have been passed by Republicans in other counties, including Hitchcock, Scotts Bluff and Sarpy,” notes the North Platte Telegraph

The Republican grass roots are stirring. Keep this up and we will own the party, lock, stock, and barrel.

Only 8 Senators objected to the fraudulent election results being certified.

Cruz, R-Texas
Hawley, R-Mo.
Hyde-Smith, R-Miss
Kennedy, R-Lou
Lummis, R-Wyo
Marshall, R-Kan
Tuberville, R-Ala
Scott, R-Fla

Not only is Sasse a problem — all others who did not object are illegitimate for participating in the steal if the ejection by election fraud.

Only the 8 Senators above can even be considered legitimate.

Yes, we need more of it.

Senators who voted that this ‘impeachment’ was Constitutional are in violation of their oaths.

Sasse has the same problem Cheney has...they care more about what democrats/reporters think than what their voters think.
I already have a plan to fund anyone running against Cheney...perhaps Sasse will earn a similar slot.

They're not scared of Trump. They're scared of US.

And they think that by destroying the symbol they will change reality.

I can't say I'm optimistic, but if they show more signs like this then I may stay with them.

FWIW, Ben Sasse was just reelected. His current term ends in 2027.

Nope. It's political theatre. What is a "censure"? It's a way to think that the people who support Donald Trump are right. In reality they are not going to do a darn thing to get Sasse out of there. EVer. That's why Sasse and the other turn coats are so bold.

A little late. He was just safely reelected.

Where were they when he was spouting off for four years?

“Censure” is the best we’ve got to deal with some of the most vile politicians in our history?

Interesting that these never trumpers are getting censured by their locals. Are people waking up? Maybe someone here in pA will censure Toomer. My next reply to his last email will be “ Why don’t you pick who you want for president and impeach the rest of the US population. That way we don’t need to mess around with voting”

The GOP is so thoroughly corrupt I don’t think it can be taken over (it would be like trying to reform the Mafia from inside) but its good to see some signs of revolt against people like Sasse. There’s rising dissatisfaction in the party and that’s a good thing.

At some point in the near future conservative voters are going to have to decide if they want to continue supporting a gutless and failed party or throw their considerable weight behind a new party. I don’t see the GOP as being worth the effort to try to reform. Too much internal resistance and power by the establishment to overcome IMHO. Better to unite behind a party that stands for something and is willing to fight for it.

You’re right, of course, it’s just political theatre, like a fart in the wind. I’ll cheer when the politicians in Nebraska refuse to implement or enforce any edict or order that is issued by the criminals in the tyrannical junta in DC, including the GOPee wing of that junta. I won’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen. GOPee Delenda Est!
