PJM’s Jeff Reynolds reported on the proposed “climate emergency” legislation that would declare climate change a “national emergency.” If passed, it would give Biden sweeping powers and unlock billions in spending.
Since there is no “climate emergency” at the moment, the radical greens have to create one. And the more dire and frightening they can make it, the more powerful they will become. AOC and her cohorts in Congress will do their best but it’s likely that the worst of the “Green New Deal” will never be enacted even with the declaration that climate change is a national emergency.
But suppose President Biden and other western leaders were to declare a “climate lockdown”? In a climate lockdown, “governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban the consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling.”
As preposterous as that sounds it’s actually being seriously considered in some circles.

It will be interesting to see how the Federal Government (Oceania) tries to impose this. During the CCP virus, the Federal Government did not have the ability to lock anything down in the individual States. Governors had to do it. Apply what GOP lead states learned, I cannot see many GOP lead states participating in a climate lockdown, but can see every Commie State doing it.
They are going to keep pushing until.....
Anyone who mentions climate change just ask them the simple question “what is the ideal temperature for the earth?”.
If they can’t tell us what target we’re trying to achieve, where does all this end? (rhetorical question, it’s about money and control few really believe we have 10.5 years left on earth). And there is plenty of good, scientific rational basis for suggesting the planet would be better off with about a 1 degree increase. Better for plant life. Greenhouses are humid and the impeccable greenhouse managers pump CO2 into them.

No, actually it’s totally logical. The American public has been indoctrinated. “Karen” will gleefully accept any taxes/restrictions because she knows the planet is dying. My neighbors would be so relieved that someone as caring as Biden was stepping forward to save the planet.

The “climate emergency” lie may be even bigger than climate realists realize.
A new peer-reviewed article by Bjørn Lomborg, the founder of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, shows that the risk of death per one million persons from climate-related (i.e., weather) causes has dropped dramatically from nearly 250 per million in 1920 to close to zero per million in 2020.
“Back in the 1920s, the death count from climate-related disasters was 485,000 on average every year. In the last full decade, 2010-2019, the average was 18,357 dead per year or 96 percent lower. In the first year of the new decade, 2020, the preliminary number of dead was even lower at 8,086 — 98 percent lower than 1920s average,” according to Lomborg.
The risk of dying from a climate-related issue has dropped even further, owing partly to the large global population increase since 1920.
“Because the world’s population also quadrupled at the same time, the climate-related *death risk* has dropped even faster. The death risk is the probability of you dying in any one year. In the 1920s, it was 243 out of a million people that would die from climate-related disasters,” Lomborg wrote.

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
The Greenhouse Effect of the 1960s was blamed on too much sunlight hitting the earth, warming it and not being able to radiate off into space due to POLLUTION blocking it..
In 1969, the COMING ICE AGE was blamed on not enough sunlight hitting the earth due to-—POLLUTION! So the US cleaned up.
Then in 1988, too much sunlight was blamed for hitting the earth, causing Glo-Bull Warming, which could not radiate off into space due to CO2 Pollution!
Yet, after thirty three years of Glo-Bull Warming the seas have not risen and Obama’s house on Martha’s Vineyard is still three feet above high tide. If he is not worried about rising seas why should I be?
As you can see, all this is just an excuse to regulate, regulate, regulate!
Currently -11 degrees and thanks to natural gas I’m toasty warm. I suppose during a climate lockdown we would be expected to either turn off our carbon belching heat or at least set the thermostat to some ridiculous temperature like 58 degrees that government experts say will save the planet. I won’t allow the Climate Inquisition to cause me to freeze or swelter in my darkened home without a fight. As for ending eating red meat how many cattle ranchers, butchers, meat pack workers, truckers and restaurant workers will be unemployed just like the pipeline workers.
The hell there isn't...we're freezing our asses off where I am, there's lots of snow, I fell, my car got stuck, snowblower blows, and our furnace sucks!🤨
